Friendly restaurant in the middle of this small village: wide selection of mainly couscous dishes. Very friendly service, good quality.

A travelling companion and myself walked into this fabulous place the other night, very tired after walking all over the hills and ruined medieval chateau (Chateau Gaillard) above. The unbelievably welcoming host, Hachemi, offered us first soft drinks to cool down, then an apéro, then a full couscous and wine, all for absolutely nothing, however much we pleaded with him to pay him at least a little. Not only that, he also gave us a lift to the nearest train station so we didn't have to pay the €50-60 that the staff at the very snooty Hotel de la Chaine d'Or nearby had told us a taxi would cost, all as a huge thunderstorm was breaking too!

The restaurant is run by Hachemi, an Algerian restaurateur with decades of experience all over France and North Africa, and his family, who are all just as helpful, warm and welcoming as he is. His couscous is to die for, all the condiments (including fresh sultanas and chickpeas), fresh as possible, nicely seasoned, light but filling. The atmosphere is great too, everyone in the village knows each other, and being at this restaurant, you are really made to feel like a part of it, Hachemi saying hello to everyone as they pass.

All in all, I couldn't recommend this place more highly. If you're anywhere nearby (anywhere in Haute-Normandie basically), go, go, GO, you won't regret it and will get wonderful memories you will never forget.
