Very beautiful but old hotel.
Location is great. Near forest (mountain) and sea!!! I love it.
Rooms are not very good. but it's OK.
Bathrooms and toilets were not very good! But it was clean.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner was Ok but not very specific.

It is like a 3 stars hotel, not 4stars, but I think the location is great...
Come here in the beginning of spring... :-)

I had a look inside the Hotel and, well, the other travellers are right. It is overpriced (Nevertheless you like the charm of the old Reza-Shah-Style wing of the Hotel.)

If not go seaside along the long Casino Road and at the front of the old Casino you turn left to the neighboring Motel. It belongs to the same group, has the charm of the 1970s, you feel a little bit like Erich Honecker, but it is half or one-third the price.

the hotel lobby or restaurant is good but if u look carefully u see the cracks in the walls!the rooms are terrible ,we had to change 3 rooms to settle!one room was smelling like garbage the other one 's ceiling had crack and after it started to rain water was leaking from the ceiling, lamps and anything above!the third room was just so old and out of order ,and when we complained the manager couldn't agree more !he said it's not their fault the parsian group who are the owners do not spend any money for fixing the hotels .and because there is no other hotel in ramsar people have to stay there!
so please don't go there to give them a lesson.

Room Tip: even don't think a bout going there.

I stayed here for two nights in late April and in hindsight, I wished I hadn't because it's expensive and the area is not interesting at all. In fact, I'd go further and say the entire Caspian Sea front from Sari to Ramsar is not worth visiting - unless you like rain and forests.

The hotel itself is fine - straddled on top of a hill so has a commanding view of the Caspian Sea though you must ask for a sea-view room or you'll get the hill or some ugly buildings behind the hotel - neither of which is particularly attractive given the price of $83-a-night which is over-priced. It's a 15-minute walk to the town centre which can be quite inconvenient. My travel agency booked it for me so I didn't have much choice. But never again.

The hotel itself has two wings - one Georgian-era and the 1970s wing. Only the latter is in use and although it's been extensively redecorated, it still felt old.

The bed was nice, there's an in-safe room, and bathroom was good with a bath (no plugs), cable TV and air-con. Breakfast was very good but there's no internet (there's only one internet cafe in Ramsar) on site. There are shops too for souvenirs in the hotel and general stuff but you're better off buying them in town.

And just a note about getting around to other areas along the coast. The hotel can organise taxis for you but they can be very expensive. Get a safari and break up your journey by hopping from town to town - you can save over 90% on the cost.
