This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to be close to nature...you are literally on the edge of the jungle.
Rooms are clean and spacious and enhanced with the simple air con and shower facilities that a natural environment commands. I would recommend eating here too...food is good and the local entertainment is good too.
The jungle trek (not for the faint hearted) is fantastic...getting close to all kinds of monkeys including orangutangs! Guides were brilliant!

What a stay. We were here three nights and everyone was so amazing and friendly. Suria our guide for trekking had incredible knowledge and a wonderful sense of humour and we were in safe hands throughout some amazing trekking, we saw 14 orangutans in the wild amongst many other animals. The food was incredible we didn’t eat anywhere else because it was so fresh and tasty. After travelling for several months this was our favourite place to stay in Asia - come visit now and be prepared for the time of your life!

We spent 2 nights in Jungle Inn and stayed in room number 7. The room was clean and very spacious with a beautiful view over the jungle and the river below.

But what makes this place so special is the staff. Dieki and Brontie will do their best to make you feel at home in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They even organised for a surprise cake to be baked for my birthday!

Jungle Inn can also help organise day or multi days tours in the jungle. Our guides Nang Nang and Jhony were amazing. They understood exactly what we were looking for and we had a great experience seeing many animals (including 6 orangutans, many different types of monkeys, etc...). Highlights included seeing wild and semi wild orangutans and tubing back to the hotel on the river. These guys made our stay very special and we would definitely stay at jungle inn and trek with Nang Nang & Jhony again!

We stayed in "honeymoon" room #0, top floor room (55 steps up) with big wrap around balcony with table and chairs and view of river from front side of balcony. and hammock with view of waterfall from side balcony. No AC but nice breeze and window screens (but definitely gap areas between window frames). Staff incredibly friendly, and Pak Hassan was very helpful both before and during our stay. Highly recommend our jungle trek and river raft guide Pak Punidi. We saw orangutans, thomas leaf monkeys, and gibbons. Jungle trek is truly jungle, steep climbs and can be muddy (3 out of 4 fell and slid down a bit), so bring good shoes. Drive from Medan takes 3-4 hours and last hour+ road is rugged.

Can’t think of a nicer place that we have ever stayed.... anywhere. We would have never expected such a beautiful place to be within our budget. Such care has been put into the design and the decor of this place. The staff were just so helpful, warm and fun. Hassan, surya, mercy, bronte, alde, nor, leah.....all were a delight, and a joy to have met. And the food? Oh my goodness...it was delicious. I have never tasted anything quite so delicious as the dragon fruit chia. And the entertainment!!! Yes, they love to play guitar and sing. We enjoyed it all so very much.
Oh, and not forgetting the trekking. Surya and mercy are both such kind and patient people, with vast knowledge. It was a pleasure and an honour to spend our time with them in the jungle.
