“Nothing better in the area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

Cute is the first word, which comes to your mind when you unter this little hotel sitting right on the beach. And then you get pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of food.
The serving staff is very courteous and helpfull.

“Great food and cute bar!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

My husband and I stopped here for dinner when we were staying at another hotel down the road. He has fettucini alfredo with shrimp and garlic bread, and I had a traditional fish dinner with rice, beans and salad. Both our meals were excellent. The presentation was beautiful. We also had a few cocktails. This place is really cute with interesting wooden tables with designs carved into them. There is a surf board in the corner with Bob Marley's face on it. The place is right on the beach, but we were there in the dark so I can't tell you about the ocean view. There were quite a few locals hanging out while we were there. Service was great.

“Great oceanview”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2013

We had lunch here several times while staying in Esterillos Este. The food was always good (you MUST try the ceviche) and they offered a great selection. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable. The view was amazing - open air restaurant and bar with a pool table. The space between the restaurant and the beach offers many covered/shaded seating areas, including two over-sized beachfront swings. Great place to hang out and spend an afternoon.

“Great meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2013

The peppered tuna steak seared to perfection and the local platano chips with guacamole was a delicious appetizer. Our friends had curry and a salmon dish that was very sumptuous. We will put this on our list of places to go back to.

“Always a Safe Bet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Food is good, service is ok, a little pricey, but always a safe bet. Don't be scared having to drive on a dirt road to get here. But if you've hanging in CR for more than 24 hours, you've probably been down several dirt roads already.
