We used to stop for lunch or dinner here at this charming faux castle built in the 1930's when the kids were small, to help them appreciate good food in a civilized setting even while traveling. Returning after several years, we were happy to see that the kitchen team and other staff continue to deliver. We had nicely prepared and presented nettle soup, pike-perch and loin of pork. Our charming, professional waiter of a standard rarely seen in Sweden is also worth a mention. As always, you are surrounded by a baroque setting and able to enjoy the view of lake Vättern an Visingsö. At 145:- the price for a lunch is absolutely reasonable.
