This is a restaurant that has been around for years. It's always been very consistent with it's meals and service. The meals are real good and they have decent sized portions. Lots of locals eat there and they are always lined up and busy. A couple of my picks for Marj's is their meatloaf and shepherds pie. Very good!!! It is a great little spot to stop into if your in the Alma area.

There's nothing fancy about this place. It is just a good country restaurant. For those of you city folk who want to get autentic country fare - this is your place. We were there for lunch and I had a sandwich. It was fresh and tasty! The bread was amazing. I just wish I had saved room for pie cuz they looked fantastic.

Marg's is not fancy...in any way. The menu is basic, the prices are reasonable, the portions are filling...and the desserts are outstanding. The place is almost always busy and the service is good. We usually come for breakfast and never have any complaints! There is a reason the parking lot is almost always full.

We went there for breakfast and took our 9 year old daughter and 4 year old grandson. The menu is quite large but we found the childrens meals were expensive ... ie 4.50 for a hotdog or grilled cheese and no fries or drink with it. The adult meals we also found expensive but the taste was very good. Not sure if we would go back there again.

We use to take an hour and a half drive to Marj's when we weren't living locally. Now that we're here, it's a regular restaurant for us. Consistently good wholesome food! If farmers eat there you know it's good food!

The bakery is excellent as well!

You can't go wrong at Marj's!
