Very informative. Excellent foods. Well worthwhile spending the time. Had a great time meeting new people. Now when we want to go out for a meal we will be going to Elora!

This was fun tour and great way to spend an afternoon. We were introduced to a couple of restaurants that I am interested in visiting again (I actually have already gone back to the Creperie). It was also quite interesting to learn about olive oil tasting at the Village Olive Grove although my wife found it a little pretentious.

Okay, I must admit I live in Elora, and I do try to get out and about, but this walking culinary tour is a must for tourists and locals alike! We visited several restaurants, a bakery and a pub, and tried a sample at each stop. The chef at East Mill Tapas was a delight, so very personable and genuine. Oh, yeah, and the scallop with bacon was fresh and tasty! One restaurant was closed (New Year's Eve private party) so he gave us an extra treat - spectacular cheesecake! All the food stops were highlights (Cork, E&G Pastry, Shepherds' Pub and Cafe Creperie), as they all gave us a really special taste of something nice. The Creperie actually gave us several different crepes, both savoury and sweet, topped off with a chocolate. Nice touch! None of the places were new to us, but it was nice to hear a bit of the town history thrown in, and try some nice food tidbits. For the price ($10/person) you cannot beat the value of this tour.

Take the culinary tour of Elora. It runs 12 months of the year rain/snow/shine, on Saturdays. Reservations are required. Check out the culinary delights of the village of Elora, just north of Guelph. There are 6 stops and all shops are unique. Walking is easy but there is a 100metre climb to one restaurant. The climb is moderate. Just $10/person and it includes treats at all stops including some beer and wine. Two tour guides explain the history of Elora and the restaurants on the tour. It takes about 2 hours and ends at the Cafe Creperie where you can stay longer since it is last on the tour. The Cafe Creperie was my favourite.

This is a fun outing and unbeliveable value at $10/head.
