“Being With Nature”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

We had a great experience of staying at Wildflower which is a calm & quite place surrounded by forest and the design/architecture of the resort left a feeling of being with nature. Resort staffs are good & positive. The resort manager is a nice person having a deep knowledge on Bandhavgarh takes a good care of guest.

It was a wonderful stay here along with my family. The resort is almost the part of the forest as core zone of national park starts just behind its backyards! It was a trip with eagerness to have a sight of a tiger and to have a break from daily cores at a peaceful place. The Wildflower made it a memorable stay for my family, particularly my nature-loving daughter who found lots of birds and flora existing within the boundary of resort itself.
We were lucky to see a tigress along with her cubs in Bandhavgarh and a lot of credit goes to the management of the Resort as they labored hard to manage a jungle safari for us, especially when we were unable to site a tiger a day before.
Food and care was amazing, given the fact that staff was local and locally trained. Enjoyed every moment in this land of wildlife......

Room Tip: Suites are best as they are located towards the forest and green fields. They are large and quite.

We loved the Jungle feel of this wonderful lodge in Bandhavgarh. The lodge is in the middle of the sanctuary and while reaching we saw lots of deer. The resort is run by very hospitable and friendly staff. The rooms are very comfortable and bathrooms clean. Food was good. Although it was menu meals but there was flexibility of making changes. It is recommended that you make sure that you can be driven to the national park while you book. Special efforts had to be made by resort manager to get our safari tickets as we had no prior booking for them. Safari experience was good and watching the Tiger was a lifetime experience.

Although the location was quite inside but that turned out the plus point. It was my first trip to Bandhavgarh not in search of spotting the tiger but to just enjoy the place and stay out of the daily hush hush of Mumbai city. We had a lovely time in extremely peaceful place and propbably my short stay of 2 days did not do the justice to the place. I would have been more happy with another day thr. However, Minor development areas were shared as feedback with the management (like the pool was not clean due to the fall season or the fountain was not working. The street lamps to my quite corner room did not work.) but that did not bother the peace experienced there. Perfect place to relax. Also an ideal location to visit for the old aged couple. Very friendly environment and well maintained place.

The food prices in the resort are lil high which can be a shock to the people visiting there. And evening tea at the tree house gazing at the sunset was beautiful.

I am thankful to the guy who had a lovely smile on his face when we entered and all the while we stayed there. Although, I dont remember his name now but the management will know who i am referring to.

Room Tip: I think the Super Deluxe room that they call suite which has a outdoor shower. Although, we did not...

Me and my family spent three wonderful days at the wildflower resort in Bandhavgarh. It is a nice resort near the forest. We had nice large room and enjoyed a lot. The food and services were also very good. They arranged for our safaris through the current permits and we even got one safari in Tala Zone, the main zone of bandhavgarh.

While searching for hotels in Bandhavgarh i went through the reviews here and was worried because of some reviews. Went ahead booking this place as a friend of mine had stayed here earlier and had recommended it. Also the deal offered was far better than other similar resorts. I can now recommend this resort to anybody without a hitch. I will have to come back again as we could not spot a Tiger, and will stay here.

The first thing that comes to my mind is the hospitality and the friendliness of the manager. He is the X-factor for this resort nestled in one corner close to the wilderness. Nice secluded and well maintained property. Rooms are good and so is the food. The manager is also an excellent naturalist so he can be a true value addition to your trip. Do book your safaris in advance and go for direct booking.
The only con that i can think of is poor approach road and a bit secluded location which is a bit away from the forest office.
