Consistently delicious Franconian cuisine, heartily recommended. The whole menu is good. The service can seem aloof, but that's typical in Germany; catch the waiter's eye if you want something. Bring cash, plastic is no good here. The place has a nice, grapevine-shaded patio. Visits have been couples, friends, business and solo, but the Tripadvisor pigeonholes don't allow for multiple choice. Oh well. Zum Roten Ochsen is a good place for a reliably good dinner.
ps there should be a service rating between "average" and "very good' on Tripadvisor. You don't need both "poor" and "terrible" on a five point scale.
