It is believed that if you visit Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling then you must visit this temple. If you believe in it, please make a trip. At the temple it will not take more than 20 min.
By the way offering to God at this temple includes alcohol.

This is another example of living god. In this temple the god drinks liquor. The deity drinks the bottles of whiskey or any other liquor and even the prasad is liquor.

Kal Bhairava - Kaal Bhairav Temple said to have been built by king Bhadrasen on the banks of Shipra River. This ancient temple is dedicated to Kaal Bhairav, the chief among the eight Bhairavas. The worship of Kaal Bhairav is a part of Shaivite tradition, mainly by the Kapalika and Aghora sects. The striking feature of the Kaal Bhairav Temple is its exquisite paintings in Malwa style, only traces of which are noticeable. Lord Bhairav guard the Lord Shiva temple, due to which He is called "Kotwal" also.

Attraction:
The Ritual of serving liquor
This temple ritual starts with the devotee buying a bottle of wine or hard liquor like rum or whisky and presenting to the deity. The priest will accept the bottle and pour the contents in a shallow plate, which is held to the lips of the deity. It is a wonder to see the liquor slowly vanish from the plate. I have been a witness to it.

How to reach Kal Bhairava Temple :
You can at first come to Ujjain and then hire a car or bus and come straight to the Kal Bhairava Temple.

It is one of the oldest temple in the city, and in this temple you have to offer alcohol in the form of prasada, Kal Bhairav temples in india is the only place where one can offer alcohol as offering and loads of monkey are there but they don't harm any body, arrangement are not that great but still if people who really love to see the old structure kind of things must visit this place
