“Excellent pilgrimage”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

The only setback is the road from Kopargaon to Shirdi.....Pathetic road .....Plenty of all budget hotels and guest houses available around main temple....Don't get fooled by local guides for world class accomodation...

“Apart from temple, surounding conditions are detoritating”
Reviewed December 8, 2013

we r visiting shirdi's temple from last 25 years, we have high faith in Baba. But from last few years surrounding conditions r detoritating like
1. There r now lots of Bar & wine show in shirdi. have seen people drunk n creating nuisance.
2. unauthorized parkings are created everywhere, n they keep Goons to collect the same. Administration are taking no actions against them.
3.the moment u enter Shirdi, rooms agent (goons) start knocking at car, some even bang car if u dont go with them
4. once u start going in queue for darshan, other agent starts nagging u.

in the last 25 yrs, the temple environment of shirdi has been lost, u tend to see hotels, malls, agents all around.
Shiridis management shud learn from tirupati Balajis administration, where the approach is more people centric , then the business centric.

“Jai Sai Ram”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

Well maintained, by the staff and security, neat and clean, once you enter the main temple even after standing in "Q" for two hours you forgot all your worries and will start chanting Jai Sai Ram, the Sai Baba's murti has got a great attrection. However all your true wishes are full filled here.
When you are in "Q" there is lot of arrangement of sitting and also live darshan is on from the main temple & surrounding. Seperate room is there for baby fidding, Bathroom facility, tea, coffee, water & biscuits are available while you are in "Q". Seperate line is for seniour citizen.

“A Serene Destressing Experience like nothing else”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

a truly humbling experience. when you walk and chant with hoards of people from all over the country and across religions, to reach up to the mandir, it really breaks up all the city stresses and egos which have accumulated in us. downside: strict rules against mobile phones (people with kids and large groups cant track each other once split in the large queues), touts outsie the temple complex insisting on keeping footwear, giving vip passes and otherwise. Tips: Keep your footwear / mobiles / luggage only in the official temple run cloak rooms or services, the tokens for the same are very small and filmsy so do not loose them,
