We stayed there with my friends and one year old kid. Saw great theatre performance, swim in one of two pools (too cold for indians:) and ate lots of great food. Our room (Jarokha Mahal, for 5 people) was on very low level (very close to the gate) and the first night there was very loud music from the village below almost till morning. That would be the only minus. Other than that we have tried zipping and camel ride to the step well - both very nice. It is cool place for a weekend getaway with friends, but it must be amazing for couples as the place is very romantic. There is a lot of levels and hidden places, so you can walk and explore, but there are stairs everywhere so you have to watch (or carry) smaller kids.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your valuable review about the Neemrana Fort-Palace heritage resort near Delhi.

We are delighted to receive your positive feedback about the food, the theatre performance, the zip-lining, and the camel cart experience.

While we are grateful that you complete the viability cycle for any heritage ruin to be restored and then maintained for future generations, we urge you to continue on this less-travelled path.

Warm Regards,

I came here on my own, but I could imagine this palace would be the most romantic place to stay. It's very peaceful and quiet (except on nights there are weddings in the village. These people can party on their wedding night and the whole village can hear from miles away I'm sure!).

I stayed at the Krishna Mahal, which boasts 2 balconies, one of which allows you view the outside but not outsiders from viewing you and the other has an amazing 180 degree view of the palace and city. It was so beautiful and could make for some intimate nights. The room was big, had a king sized bed, and a sofa, a desk, an armoire, but no TV. The bathroom was also a good size, though the water takes about 5 minutes to heat up.

The staff here was helpful and excellent, and the breakfast is included in the price of the room. Lunch and dinner were a bit expensive, but I saved money by eating in the village. You can actually walk around the village without feeling threatened or unsafe, unlike other Indian cities, and the residents are very warm and inviting.

I really enjoyed walking around the palace. I didn't go in, but there are two pools, one of which overlooks the city. There is also free wi-fi in the reception area and pool area. I was able to pick up signal from my room, so I didn't mind not having a TV. Plus walking around the village at night kept me busy.

All in all, I would stay here again - but this time with a significant other! - and would recommend it to other couples as well.

I visited Neemrana with a friend to take a much needed break from office. The palace is huge and we enjoyed exploring it during our two days trip. Though it is such a big property but it is well maintained. There are lots of ‘wow’ things in the palace, such as sunset point, hindola room, hanging garden and so on. They have a TV lounge where you can play various games or watch TV. We also enjoyed the tea session in the tea/coffee lounge relishing the freshly baked brownies. At night, the whole palace brightens up with the lights and gives a spectacular view. The breakfast buffet spread was good. I really loved their masala omelet with cheese. We also did zipping which was a thrilling and unforgettable experience. Icing on the cake was the mesmerizing performance by Ramli Ibrahim and his troupe at night.

The staff was courteous and always ready to help with a smile. The review won’t be complete without mentioning Mr. Vipul, who was always on his toes to take care of the guests. We faced a small issue in the room we booked and casually mentioned it to him. He readily shifted us to another room. The Spa at the fort was average and can be improved. But all in all, I had a great time at Neemrana and look forward to visit again.

I think I have had lot of other reviews pending due to shortage of time... but, could not resist to write about this property. Regardless of what other user's have experienced, I have found this property a nice and well maintained. This is a good option for people going in groups or for couples as well. It could be very romantic if organized in a proper way. No doubt the rooms and food options are little costly but, they are set to maintain a standard so that customer's enjoy it to the fullest. We stayed at Geru Mahal and I would recommend anybody staying there to plan their trip and book well in advance so that you can get choice as per your requirement. Also Flying fox can be booked online well in advance to confirm the slots.

I personally liked the snacks items served very much there. Food was good in quality but, some varieties can be brought up to improvize buffet options. Meal timings are fixed but, that is good and acceptable. On behalf of Neemrana management I would personally like to acknowledge the service of Chef who organized candle light dinner. His service was really noticeable and I must thanks the management to hire such people. We did enjoy the Camel ride very much along with the Vintage Car ride... which could be option as an activity. We went to see stepwell/ Bawari as well but, I will highly recommend it to be a Neemrana property rather than, it coming under government. Please do not go there at odd hours. The best activity to enjoy there is Zipping which is organized through Flying fox Asia. Needless to say you will fear it and have fun. Please check the age levels and health issues before going for it. It's obviously not for all age groups. The fort is a great option for weekends or few days stay. My overall experience with this palace is between 4 - 4.5 out of 10. Really happy...

Only one thing I would like to put as an observation if management can get it implemented. We find group of people having their snacks/ drinks outside their mahal... may be Barsaat mahal. This was little disturbing at nights. If a separate bar area can be developed inside fort when, they can come night hours that will be appreciable.

Thanks for making my Birthday so special!!!

Room Tip: I personally liked rooms with terrace. You can choose room around reception and dining area or pool...

A magical setting, quaint rooms, good service and food, but the aggressively loud music played all night in the village right next to the property (and which the management expressed helplessness in addressing) really makes this a significantly less attractive destination than billed. The music was loud enough to be intensely annoying and to make it impossible to sleep - not what you want on a holiday. Pity as the setting really is beautiful.

Room Tip: Check for rooms facing away from the village if you want less noise pollution to filter through.

Your appreciation about the ambience, the service, and the food has been conveyed to the respective department heads as well as the team members.

We are sorry to learn that you did not have a comfortable stay at the property. Its was a memorable trip and few things which actually made my trip memorable were below mentioned

1. People are very helpful, ask for something and they are available.
2. Very clean property and well handled.
3. Check in and check out was very smooth.

there are other things as well but in short nice place to come with family. Vipul Rawal handles every customer as his family member. He is a nice human being and taking care of everything very nicely.

Over the last three decades, the ‘Neemrana’ of the stunningly restored 15th century Fort-Palace, has come to mean many things. For architects it is a unique example of utter waste turned into a 14-tiered marvel with palace wings, courts and stepped gardens, felicitated with national and international awards. For guests, it means discovering over five centuries of history experienced with modern comforts. Only 100 kms from Delhi, just off the main highway NH8 to Jaipur, Neemrana Fort-Palace is a favourite site for celebrations, feasts, conferences, a quiet retreat for yoga and relaxation or India’s first site where you can indulge in five thrilling zip-line tracks that literally fly you in the sky. Built since 1464 CE, on a plateau of the two billion year old Aravalli ranges, this 14-tiered property sprawls across 10 green hectares / 25 acres. For guests, this offers 72 rooms / suites, 3 conference halls (Jazam, Qanat & Kasturi), hanging gardens, arched pavilions and balconies. The upper levels of the northern wing of the Fort-Palace can now be accessed from the car park by a 110 feet high lift which leads by the Saat Bagh to a second box lift. This architectural wonder can now also be enjoyed by the elderly and the less-abled who can be shown the upper parts carried on a palanquin chair by four able men ! Neemrana Fort-Palace has two spectacular pools that lean out to the sun. The upper pool is heated in the winter months to take the enjoyment of sunsets to another level. An intimate play area for young toddlers & the adjacent Neemrana eco-farm have been added recently so that you consume healthy organic food. Try our Maha Burj gold-platter thali for Rajasthani cuisine, or the buffet with a variety of cuisines that suits many palates. Wander the 2.4 hectares/6 acres of Palace with a self-guided multimedia tour. Ride a camel/camel cart or a vintage car. Walk out to the 16th century step well which descends 7 floors into the earth.
