For a Delhi-ite, Sariska is a must visit once. Although the overall experience is quite mediocre in comparison with Corbett or Rajaji. Usual Guide thrill-generating-tactics are well visible here as well such as "Looking at Footprints", "Stopping the Engine to listen to Deer Calls", etc.

Also, there are no bathroom or sanitation facilities, no food & other items for purchase which can prove to be difficult considering you start the safari at 6 AM. Better keep packed food with you. In our case, we had got our breakfast packed at 11 PM from our Hotel Aravali which we picked at 5 AM while checking out.

Sariska Tigar Reserve is about 200 km from Delhi, capital of India. It is in Alwar , Rajasthan. It takes about 4 hrs from Delhi. The scenic beauty enroute is enjoyable. Total area spread is over 800 sq km , well nestled in Aravali Hills
It is quite difficult to see tiger but many other animals like deer, Cheetal etc are visible very often. Birds lover can enjoy variety of birds.

Tough to say if there are tigers but we got to see the caracal and a lot of deer. Last time we also saw some jackals who followed our car for quite a distance. PArrots, peacocks and partridge are in plenty too.
