“Value for Money.”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

I travelled to Sariska with family for the first time. Though we were not lucky enough to see the tiger, but enjoyed staying at Amrit Resorts. This is a small cozy property owned by a lovely couple. Surrounded by greenary, resort lawns are very well maintained and full of variety of fruit trees. The rooms are very well maintained and personalized service is guaranteed. You could even decide the recepie of the food you want to eat. Home away from Home. This is resort, don't expect 5-Star hotel luxury here. But perfect and effordable place at Sariska / Alwar and Value for Money!!!

From a busy life of Gurgaon we thaught of spending quality time between nature without exhausting travelling time. I must say that our choice of Alwar was excellent and our stay at Amirt resort on the way to sariska was seriously amazing. Excellent service and wonderful stay between nature. Will come again and again....

After reading the review on this site I had made an online booking at this resort for 1 night, 28Sep12. However while driving towards Alwar my wife expressed her reservation that I should have kept my options open and tried some other properties too.

However, as soon as we landed in AA, we were very plesantly surprised. The property has does boast of star conforts but definately has a "home feel". It is run by a young couple Bhupinder (Raja) and his wife and together they ensure that you have a pleasnt stay.

Their Chef Chandan likes to be challenged and he feed us some amazing "palak (spinach) paranthas and home set curd with in house achars. Among other items we loved our Yellow Dal, Zeera Aloo and tawa chapatis.

All in all it did not feel that we were staying in a hotel, it felt as if we staying with our Uncle & aunt since in the morning my wife joined the staff in the kitchen.

Room Tip: Try for either Room No 201 or 202 as both face the road and have an advantage of a balcony.

At first glance you can miss this hotel becuase it looks like a pure residence, if it were not for the baord outside saying Amrit Resort. we had found this gem in a visit last year and were only too happy to book our family once again over a weekend trip. For those looking to stay on the outskirts of Alwar but within reach of the tourist spots this place is highly recommended as it sits just beyond the city limits but from where every place is about 15-20 minute drive.

The family which owns the hotel live on the premise and are always available for any help and assistance. The Food is absolutely finger licking and is prepared by the ladies of the house. The hotel does not have a bar which makes it a very enjoyable experice for families as there are no large noisy drinking groups on the premises.

The hotel is set in the midst of fields with the Arvallias all around and in the evenings all that one hears are peacocks from the surrounding trees. The road on which the hotel is set is the main Sariska road and old jaipur road, so connectivity is not an issue.

The rooms had been upgraded from our previous trip and the same are extremely comfortable and cater to your basic needs and comfort. The tarrif generally includes breakfast and there is no place in Alwar for the same pricing for the same quality. This place is ideal for a quiet getway with good food , comfy rooms and a great and restful environment.

Totally recommended.

Room Tip: The rooms are all located on the first floor and there is no lift in the hotel. For anyone with a an...

Visited with family in October'2010. Very comfortable stay. Excellent chicken dish prepared by owner itself being non existent in Alwar. View from room was wonderous with mountains in front !!! Rained during this period and enjoyed the nature. Visited Sariska and Silserh lake which are nearby the hotel....

away from the city , situated on jaipur highway..this place will make you feel like home.. its a resort owned by a family where the family also stays.. Earlier i was a bit hesitant to stay there but after staying there for 3 nights , i realised that the experience was worth it... Rooms are gud, the family is very helpful...I think this is the best hotel nearby city...all other good hotels like neemrana , kesroli are far and are very expensive...

Room Tip: go for a suite...its gud and also not very expensive

1.0> Nestled in the lap of Aravalli – surrounded in a surreal ambience of tranquility – far from the maddening crowd of the city
2.0> At the same time – excellent communicability – located on Alwar-Jaipur Highway and only 10 minutes from city center
3.0> It’s not a hotel – it’s a home – a house owned by a family – and like a house for a traveler; for city dwellers and souls tired due to pressures of daily works – this is the place where you can get some much needed peace and get your soul energized
4.0> Room No-201 and also 202 are excellent. Gives beautiful view of Aravalli Hills both in front and back of the hotel. We went in a full-moon night – the moon was at the back-drop of the hill behind the hotel. It was out of the world.
5.0> Owners of the hotel (both Mr Raja and the lady (I forgot to ask her name)) were hospitality personified. They take care of the minutest details of your comfort.
6.0> The verandah / lobby in front of the room is well-spread and charming. You can have your food at leisure sitting there with the vast expanse of nature in front.
7.0> Food is excellent and served with care, warmth and affection. It’s not a commercial enterprise – there is a personal touch. Try Dal Makhani, Egg Curry and Nawabi Chicken.
8.0> And they allow pets also. We went there with our beloved cocker spaniel (my cute Roxy). Roxy misses the resort now. He simply loved the lawn in front and the abundant open space. Payel became so fond of the resort that she did not move out anywhere from the resort.
9.0> And all these at a price you will not believe.
10.0> RTDC must learn a thing or two from Amrit Resorts. RTDC Resort at Siliserh is so remote and at such an eerie location with the staff so wooden – after staying in Amrit once if you visit an RTDC resort – you will hate yourself.
11.0> Talking of Siliserh Lake – its only 8 Kms from the resort (in fact Siliserh 8 Kms, Sariska 25 Kms and Jaipur 138 Kms all fall in the same road that goes directly in front of the hotel.
12.0> Very secure parking – inside the resort gate. Gate closes after 10:00 – 10:30 pm. No headache for your car.
13.0> An ideal place to bring your books / kindles / notes / nooks and read the novels you missed.
14.0> We are again planning to visit on 27th April’12 till 30th April’12 morning.
Suggestions for improvement: Very minor and routine one like rectifying the loose regulator (of the fan) in Room No-202 and may thinking of keeping a small covered dustbin inside each room. Kindly also think about increasing the parking space (currently I think parking is for 6 – 8 cars taking 3-4 vehicle on each side. That too considering small / medium cars – if someone comes with a huge SUV and merrily parks in the middle (like the white INNOVA did on the night we arrived and I had to maneuver a bit to park my own). Can you think of using a part of the lawn for parking if there is peak rush??
And what about installing wi-fi in rooms on extra chargeable basis?

Room Tip: SELECT ROOM NO 201 & 202 IF POSSIBLE & AVAILABLE. Give beautiful view of Aravalli Hills both...
