A small museum that feels like a time capsule for here it was in 1912 that the independent Albanian government began operation and many of the rooms and exhibits have been left as they were. A very knowledgeable guide was on hand to explain and answer questions that could cover topics far beyond the museum's particular topics.
Worth an hour or so of anyone's time if they want to understand more about this country's history.

Very interesting museum displaying items relating to Albania's road to independence in 1912. Some rooms are set up as they were in those time. We had a guide to show us around which helped a lot, as we learnt what was on display. One thing of real interest was the photo showing Albania over the years, how it has changed in size as surrounding areas were added.

Building dates back to 1844. Small museum with loads of archives relating back to 1912/1913. Some of the rooms are just as they were back in the time when the ministers claimed independence.

This is an interesting museum particularly because some of the rooms are exactly as they were when the ministers who claimed Independence in November1912 used the building as their headquarters.
