I read briefly about these caves so we sailed to Sami and anchored.

The caves are a 10 minute taxi ride from Sami and are 5 Euros per adult. You climb down a set of stairs into the cave and the walkways are a combo of ramps with carpet and stairs so easy to navigate. Great for kids!

They are lit up with Orange lights and are fantastic to see. Our Cab driver waited for us and then took us to the Meganissi Cave which is another 5 minutes down the road and also very worthwhile seeing while there.

The whole tour took under two hours and would definitely recommend seeing these caves.

We went with some trepidation having read earlier reviews about lots of steps (which there were). We went with my parents in law 60s, us and our three year old and one year old. The three year old walked through all of it and loved all the different shapes. The lighting was a bit excessive but the delights of the cave were worth the 5€ entry free (kids under 6 go free). We also had a coffee at the cafe opposite which was expensive but nice.

Drogarati Cave is therefore a natural art masterpiece that has taken its present form after thousands of years, while it continually changes. Yes there are a lot of steps, but there are a few safe places to stop and take a rest. Plenty of light in the cave, taking photos is a dream. Both stalactites and stalagmites aplenty. It is very humid and quite cool inside. The kids were little bit cold by the time we left, so be warned. We enjoyed this cave very much.

4euros to get into this quite large I thought cave. Nice because you can spend as long as you like here unlike the lake up the road where you are in and out rather sharp ish for the 7euro fee. Some fabulous structures and good photo opportunities .

This is worth the €4.00 fee. Outstanding if not that large. Give the large bucket up the road a miss at €7.00 though.
