Second visit to Chloe house this year, yet again Sarah & Nick were so helpful, thank you. Chloe house is spotlessly clean and tidy and has everything in it to give you a fantastic holiday. The view from the balcony is amazing and to lie in bed at night and hear the sea is very special. Kefalonia as an island is one of the best places we have visited the scenery is stunning and the local people are so kind and friendly. Will be back next year.

What a gorgeous place this was! Such a sweet little apartment with loads of home touches - including Sarah, one of the apartment managers, pot of delicious home made marmalade! They really had thought of everything and the welcome food pack (and wine!) was very welcome. As you can see from the photos the sea laps up about 10 feet away and the gentle sound of the small waves is beautifully hypnotic - having breakfast on that balcony with such gorgeous views and sounds makes you determined to return. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we had a linen and towel change half way through our week too. One of our party was ill, with the other two at the opposite end of the island - so Nick and Sarah, our managers without hesitation took our friend to and from the doctors. Their service and attention to detail was second to none and we will definitely return. The apartment was walking distance from the Mellisani caves and Sami a 20 minute walk away has plenty of life and lovely restaurants. The local village of Karavamilos is very small, but has a couple of restaurants and a lovely bakery. We hired a car and got around this beautiful island - Assos, Myrtos Beach, Sofia beach and Fiskardo were highlights. I have never been in such beautiful clear sea.

“Absolutely delightful!”
Reviewed September 24, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

My friends and I can't praise Chloe Beach House and our stay in Kefalonia highly enough. The total experience from the initial booking was exemplary. We hired a car which we picked up at the airport and the journey was made so easy by the directions provided by Sarah and Nick. They were both there to greet us when we arrived and made us feel so welcome. The little touches they had left for us were so unexpected and welcoming. Sarahs home made marmalade is delicious! The location of Chloe is delightful and peaceful. As we had a car it was an ideal location to explore the island from. We went to to Agia Efemia, Mrytos Beach, Fiscardo, Assos, Antisamos beach, the caves, the lake and many other delightful spots all in a week. There is a lovely little bakery just a 5 minute walk away where you can get bread and lots of other delicious things and a mini market. We also found fabulous places to eat in nearby Sami and Agia Efemia. We can't rate our whole experience highly enough and are already planning to return next year. Thank you Sarah and Nick for everything.

“Didn't want to go home”

Our seconded holiday here In Sami and this apartment is just as comfortable as Zoe House (which is the apartment below this one) we have never known any holiday home to be filled to bursting with home comforts, all you needed to pack was your toothbrush and swimsuits LOL.
We wish to thank Sarah and Nick for their wonderful welcome and friendship towards us, they are a lovely couple; and well suited to this this complex and the hard work which goes with it, making it a relaxing place to be. Nothing is too much trouble.
The sea is very inviting, beautifully clear and blue. Lazy days, on the beach; across the road are a must; siting under the trees, relaxing; and not to far from the apartment to pop back for refreshments.
Evening time, a nice slow walk along the beach to Sami, a very good place for shopping and eating. We recommend the Aqua Marina for lunch or dinner very relaxing, and warm welcome from Sofia and her girls. Lovely views over looking the bay of Sami (happy hour form 5 to 9).
Afterwards enjoy a browse around all the little shops. There's a very good supermarket; where you can buy all your little luxuries, and reusable as well.
Recommend a day at the Drogarati caves, take your swimsuits. Not forgetting the caves just up the road from apartment, a nice little boat ride around the caves, and coffee after In their tiny little cafe where they make you very welcome. There's a small gift shop as well.
Look out for the bakery, warm fresh bread and sliming cakes.
Thank you once again for a lovely stay

We stayed here last year and it was a no brainer to return this year too. Read the reviews, this is a true holiday experience, living amongst locals, nice and quiet and the view is to die for. Love this place so much we will be back in 2015. Sarah and Nick, you are stars, always there if you need any assistance and nothing is too much trouble. Stelianos and Mary, thank you for the gift and thank you card - as I said we will be back and looking forward to it already!

“Stunning”

First time visiting Kefalonia, and we (me,husband and son) we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed for 10 days and found this to be a perfect time period, as we could see most of the island while still having 4 or 5 days of doing nothing (bar swimming and eating of course).

The apartment was wonderful and as others have said well-furnished. The balcony is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The minor details that are easily overlooked are very good too, like the quality of the mattresses and the anti-mosquito features. The only gripe (and this is an incredibly minor one), was the lack of a washing machine, though we were aware of this beforehand.

Although we visited in early July, the pool was vacant for large parts of the day, so you could swim at least twice a day.

The apartment is located about 20 minutes from Sami, but as the walk is flat and well lit, this was no issue. Sami was wonderful, and I don't remember us having even 1 bad meal - the quality of the food was excellent. The people are very friendly and will gladly chat when you visit their shops, and the waiting staff always made you want to return.

Also, special mention to Nick and Sarah who made us feel very welcome to begin with and were happy to help when we needed things (extra sun lounger, advice on which supermarket to use, etc.)

“Lovely apartment”

We stayed at Chloe House in June after finding it on TripAdvisor and being impressed by the reviews. The reviews were certainly accurate. It is a lovely apartment in a ideal location with beautiful views of the sea across to Ithaca and round to Sami. Nick and Sarah are brilliant managers. They are very professional and discreet. They think of everything so that all guests have to do is enjoy their holiday. We arrived to find they had provided bread, eggs, wine and Sarah's lovely marmalade and soap. Also very impressive that linen and towels were changed half way through our stay and beach towels provided if needed. As previous guests have said the bakery nearby is not to be missed. Their bread, cakes and pastries are delicious and their coffee is first class. Sami is an ideal centre with good bars and tavernas.
We had a lovely holiday here, Nick and Sarah made it special and we would certainly recommend this apartment for a holiday.
