Saturday evening and what a disaster! Yes, the restaurant was busy but there was no need for the displays of temper from the lady working in the kitchen. Hello? We can see/hear you! If you have issues with decisions made by management, please take it up with them rather than stomping around and growling. And to make an announcement to all diners that you appreciated their patience while it was so busy was highly unprofessional. That said, the servers did an admirable job of balancing a busy house.
The food was slow in coming, and portions were small for the price which seemed high in comparison to other fish and chip establishments in the area. At one point, they ran out of fries - for a fish and chip restaurant, this seems beyond bizarre!
I don't think we'll be back to Captain Ken's any time soon.
