As a guest of this resort, we recently attended the restaurant for dinner. We were not aware of the buffet and were pleasantly surprised with the contents for the price. There were two soups, six salads, 6 or 7 keralan style entrees, 7 or 8 north indian dishes, 2 western style dishes, 2 middle eastern style dishes, 2 asian style dishes, and several desserts. Bread is additionally made to order and brought to the table. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The buffet was priced at Rs. 1100 and was served from 1900 to 2300, I believe. Just be aware of a hefty tax on any imported liquors.
During the dinner time hours, it appears that either live music or dancing in the nearby ampitheater provides entertainment. The outdoor veranda is lovely with large fans keeping the warm air moving.
