Having stayed there twice now, I can say that I will continue to come back in the future. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and happy to make your stay memorable in every way. They helped us arrange travel and excursions, as well as providing extras to make our stay special.
A few caveats: I did not enjoy the houseboat experience (the boats dock for meals and overnight, which diminishes the experience). However-others have had a blast-so it literally depends on what floats your boat. Also-be careful of mosquitoes on the houseboat!
Be aware that shower and toilet are both outdoors-so it can get slippery if raining (and for those who prefer indoor facilities, this may be an issue).
The buffet is incredible-but way too much food! You can do equally as well with a la carte. I don't eat seafood, but the others had rave reviews for the seafood at the restaurant. The resort grows a lot of its own produce and it is all fresh and delicious!
I highly recommend the meandering pool villas-step out your door and step into the pool! There are a lot of activities at the resort and you can borrow bicycles to ride in to the nearby village.
The spa is wonderful and there is a doctor to advise on which procedures are safe.
All in all-this is a magical, healing place!More
