It may be best to take a taxi from Naruto railway station to reach this ryokan hotel. I know this after having walked for almost 1,5 hours here and there in scorching sunlight... ;-) The ryokan/hotel itself is quite nice, even though the lobby/breakfast area is somewhat dated in a brownish sepia tone, so to speak.
My room was very nice indeed, with big windows and a great view towrds the sea. The dinner provided at my arrival night was very good, as well as the breakfast next morning.
There was a shower/bath in my room; but after several recommendations from the front desk I also used the common bath. Very good indeed!
Mizuno is a very nice place to stay at, but frankly speaking hard to find.
