Le Clos des Devins
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our first anniversary! This bed & breakfast, in a Britton style, stone house built in 1736, was charming and elegant. We entered through the rambling garden (because we were traveling on bicycles and they had a locked shed where we could store the bikes). As we entered the gate we both said “wow!” to the manicured lawn, the aromatic roses and the historic setting. Our room was beautifully decorated with linen curtains, wooden floors and antique furniture. It was spacious, charming and had all of the modern comforts, including a towel warmer. The breakfast the next morning had tons of variety and was well balanced. We had croissants, baguettes, butter & jams, cheeses, cereales, fresh fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs and more to choose from. The hosts were the same as their home, warm and charming.
