“Great place.”
Reviewed November 15, 2011

This place is in the wall city of Amelia. It is a wonderful local place. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed all our food. We had a lovely chat with the son of the owner of the place. It is also a wine and candy store. Also a great place to pick up goodies to bring back home to friends. I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner if you are in town. The food is reasonable, very tasty and the people very charming. The son and daughter both speak english and I believe the menu has english written under the italian. The owner is a very charming man and always helpful. We will be back our next visit.

“Friendly service and tasty food and wine”
Reviewed September 15, 2011

Punto diVino was our first meal in Italy after a long flight and drive and it got our trip off to an excellent start.. The waiter was friendly and provided good wine recommendations. We had grilled artichokes, scamorza cheese in truffle sauce, good salads and a roasted duck leg. We over-ordered, so we packed up the duck leg to go. We sampled two nice local wines, a Castello de Regine red wine and a Spiraclara white. The setting is casual.

The next day we returned to Punto diVino for cheese and wine for a picnic dinner at our B&B and polished off the duck leg.

“Fantastic, as always!”
Reviewed July 17, 2011

Punto Divino, located on Amelia's tiny but perfect main street and just up from the Pota Romano (shown in the picture) was, during a recent return visit to Amelia, my regular - for lunch, for dinner, for coffee, for WiFi, for dessert, for company. And for very good reason - Luciano and family are very welcoming, they remembered me from last year, the food is superb, the warm ambience highlighted by frequent friends dropping by, and everything about both the restaurant, and the matching shop next door (also run by the family, where many of the ingredients that go into the food are stocked) meant that this little gem of a place became the favourite spot for many of the students and faculty in Amelia studying Art Crime at ARCA's Summer Masters (www.artcrime.info) for the summer. I will be back next year! Arthur.

“Great for lunch”
Reviewed July 3, 2011

You'll find Punto diVino on the main street just up from famous Porta Romana in Amelia. I would certainly recommend this for anyone looking at grabbing a good hearty and affordable lunch while in Amelia. Certainly some of the best food you'll get around lunchtime in this town.

The Good:
- Good home-cooked, Italian food
- Attentive, friendly service
- Very affordable (7 euros for a big plate of risotto / pasta)
- Great wine selection (it is attached to a quality wine shop, after all…)
- Relaxed family / friends environment
- You can even buy a lot of the homemade pasta / risotto sauces to take away!

The Bad:
- Unfortunately very small (4/5 tables - perhaps this is a good thing for you)
- A little unsummery. Hard to explain, but if you're a tourist you may want something a bit brighter, a bit more outside. This restaurant is tucked in a shop like environment.

The Ugly:
- Nothing is ugly here. Enjoyed every meal we've had here. Especially with a good glass of wine!
