“Fantastic Holiday”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the Champion Holiday Village.
The setting and surroundings are beautiful and maintained to a high standard. The view as you walk through the grassed area to the beach is stunning.

The rooms are very clean and the air conditioning is excellent. We had a 2 bedroom family room (both rooms ensuite with flat screen TVs in both) and we had to ask for a blanket as it got very cold in the night.

Food is excellent so much choice. Outside snack bar also has a salad bar and a chiller containing various fruits. Nearby is the pancake lady (potato, minced meat or sugar pancakes). Alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails are included in the all inclusive as well as liquers. There were extras such as banana smoothies with chocolate shavings that were brought out during the day that you could purchase. The waiter in the restaurant would make up non alcoholic refreshing drinks and leave it on your table for you. The last night one waiter reserved a table for us and decorated it with flowers etc to our surprise. Once a fortnight on a Thursday is Gala Night.....very beautiful dressed like a wedding. This is done on the grass near the beach. Food is amazing so much to choose from. Only negative is you have to queue for the food and it is not so hot by the time you return to your table.

The animation team are the best we have ever had. Bob (must buy bingo tickets from Bob he is very lucky we won twice in a row and very good prizes), Chi Chi and Donni were our favourite. The team work very hard, long hours and put on so much entertainment including inflatable olympics on the pool on a Friday, paintballing, archery, horse riding, volleyball to name but a few. The shows in the evening are fun and despite other reviews on here the shows are mainly in English.

Across the road from the Champion Holiday Village is a Bazaar with lots of shops. There are shops all along the road. Only negative is there are no bars outside to pop out to for a walk and have a drink but probably because the road consists of all large all inclusive hotels.
Kemer is a little further out then we thought.

Very relaxing and yet fun filled holiday would return to this hotel.

Our family group of six stayed here for a week for our summer holiday. The resort location is simply stunning! The holiday complex itself is well thought out, catering for everyone's needs young or old. The facilities are all modern , spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff were all very polite and friendly. All in all this was a very pleasant and relaxing break in uninterrupted sunshine. I would seriously consider returning next year, something I have never done before in all the years of travelling.

The hotel is very clean and well kept. The gardens are beautiful as are the mountains that surround the hotel.
The animation team are FANTASTIC and so friendly with adults and children. They keep you entertained all day.
There food is delicious and there is a large variation of different foods.

We have just returned from an amazing 2 week holiday, the hotel is set in beautiful grounds and maintained to a very high standard. The staff are really attentive especially to us British as the majority of guests are Eastern European or Russian and their manners leaves a lot to be desired, making us Brits look friendly and polite, however it did not effect our fun in any way.
The food was plentiful and very good (even with fussy teenagers) fruit and salads were really good, the beach bar staff were really helpful as were all at the a la carte restaurants.
Really nice touch was the owner and his very large family were staying on resort and they holidayed with the rest of us enjoying this amazing location with woodlands, mountains, beach and sea all in one place.
The animation team work really hard, but having the entertainment in at times 7 different languages made some of the evening shows drag on and loose the momentum.
Water sports really good, and enjoyed a massage however it seems a shame that these extras can not be charged to the room, meaning you have to carry cash which defeats the all inclusive element a little.
Gala night has so much effort put into it and was a highlight if the evening entertainment and it got the whole resort involved.
I would recommend this hotel and will return, thank you all at champion village for making our first turkey holiday experience one to cherish.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at this resort, the holiday was perfect from start to finish. The accommodation was spotless, we had a family room with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. It was cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. The restaurant was of a good standard, the food was a bit of a mix, but I felt that they were trying to cater for everyone, the salads and fresh fruit were amazing. The waiters could not be more friendly and they loved to make my 'English' tea for me! The pancake lady is a must, she is well hidden, but its worth finding her! The animation team were very good and friendly, they were keen to speak English, The freestyle dancing was my highlight of the entertainment! We did the sea to sky tour and the catamaran, both were excellent. I read some negative comments on here prior to our visit, I'm pleased to say that we had no negative experiences with cats etc!

We have just returned after a fabulous 11 nights at this place and would definitely return. The cleanliness is superb, the rooms are spacious (we had a family room as travelling with 2 teenagers) which consisted of two bedrooms a bathroom aswell as a separate shower room. The food was good, yes gets a little samey but there is always a huge choice, fresh fruit, omelettes freshly cooked for breakfast, there are two a la carte restaurants also for a change. Once a fortnight there is a gala night, which we thought was brilliant, live music, good food and lovely atmosphere. The animation team worked very hard lots of activities during the day, and there were some good shows put on, although the amphitheatre did get a little uncomfortable in the warm evenings. The beach is on your doorstep with water sports there too. Yes the beach is stoney getting into the water from the shore but there are two jettys which have steps leading into the sea. Overall we feel this is a lovely place and would return, we feel we have found a gem of a place, would be good to see a few more Brits there as a lot of Russians, but in no way did this spoil our holiday!

Room Tip: We were room. 118 which was middle of the resort so not to far to activities, pool etc but also of a...

We were initially apprehensive about this resort as it was 4 star. The only difference between this 4 star and the 5 star in Turkey was, this hotel did not have an indoor swimming pool or cinema / ten pin bowling. This was not an issue for us.
The service was fantastic. Staff went out of their way to get to know us by name and nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was lovely and quiet with its very efficient air conditioner.(it cooled the room in minutes, which was much welcomed in the 41 degree heat outside)
Resort is set in beautiful wooded gardens. (the lovely sounds of nature perhaps tree frogs chirped all day, they did at first sound like birds). There was a hairdresser, shop, jeweller and fur shop on site.
We liked:
- the hotel grounds, and the fact the rooms were in small blocks than one large block.
- the selection of food and snacks throughout.
- the sea, staff picked up rocks and stones off the beach. If you swam off the pier the rocks were not an issue and it was not deep at all.
- the Adult, Silence pool. Parents posed a problem here as they did not adhere to the signs, staff member did approach parents. She did have a difficult job as some parents did not want to stick to the rules, most were obliging.
- the friendliness of all staff our housekeeper Emine, lady who made the pancakes, all the bar staff, Mertap, Mustafa, the chefs, Entertainments Manager Carlos and his team, Customer Relations Manager and our Thomas Cook Rep, Alison and Michael who you got to see on the beach.
- recycling - love this
- the Spa, we always avail of the Hammam and a massage on the first day of our holiday
- the Gala Dinner evening held on the grass overlooking the sea (held on a Thursday night)
We least liked: the evening entertainment which was in a foreign language. Not much else to do after dinner. This suited us as we wanted a quiet holiday.
I will never underestimate a 4star hotel again. We had a wonderfully relaxing much needed week in the sunshine. Champion Holiday Village will definately see us return.

Room Tip: all rooms seem to be good as they are all in small blocks :)
