A nice big hotel, a bit old fashioned and in need of renovation and sprucing up. However, the food is excellent, and there is a great variety to choose from. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is not much to do in the winter, but there seems to be a great potential for the summer. Nevertheless, the views are stunning at any time of the year !!

On arrival prior to Christmas it was to find a great hotel with superb staff. the rooms were large and well decorated and clean, with the usual "cant read in bed with dim lights". NO PLUG in the sink., The buffet was extensive and good THEN------there was an influx of 500+ guests and some children for a "convention". They were noisy and over ran the facilities. At meal times it was difficult to get any where near the food and drink and when one did there was very little left. We has an area allocated to us for meals but this was encroached into and our lounge was taken over by them. The poor rep had little chance to clear them out and then had to clear the mess that they left behind. The out door pool was drained and the spa pool was taken over by the children. There were no plugs in the sinks as washing must be done in running water, and non were availble so take a universal sink plug with you. I enjoyed the first couple of days BUT not at Christmas. The hotel tried its best even giving us little stockings with gifts, and the chefs provided a wonderful Christmas meal in an area to ourselves whilst the rest of the hotel guests used the lovely buffet. A lovely hotel but not at Christmas or New Year. The grounds were extensive and well laid out with facilities that would be open later in the year

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are very pleasant and have tea and coffee making facilities

After returning on the 4thDecember and reading the reviews dated 28th Nov and 20th I began to wonder if I had been somewhere else.
The hotel is wonderful we arrived on 20th November and we too were with Saga, its true the rep Fez was also to us the best rep we have had in a resort. But the self service (free for all )restaurant was a nightmare. Cold plates and food and no tables if you went to late 7.45p.m.-8,30 no chance. Even thouigh saga had a area it was difficalt for older people being up three stairs carring food. The first night I wanted to go right back home. We ate at the Pasha Restaurant every night we could from then on. It was a booked table and waiter served, more civalised than the free for all. There had to be eight guests booked for the pasha or it did not open.Breakfast and lunch we ate early.
We were woken every morning at 5a.m. with the imam calling the people to pray over a loud microphone. Although fine during the day a little early I thought for holiday makers.
Our room was lovely with one of the best views we have had in a hotel ( and we have been in a lot all over the world)from balcony sea and pool, side windows were pool and mountains absolutly breathtaking The staff were helpful when they could understand you but the best was the Customer Relations desk where the girls worked tiredless to make sure you enjoyed it. Any faults were put right almost at once. The pool was closed and the childrens pool started to smell so I mentioned it to the Customer relations girls. Next day when we went walking, the pool had been drained and cleaning had started. The next disappointment was the beech when we first arrived you could go on it (peebles that is) and walk from the hotel. The next week they were using large machinery and pulling all the beech up in a huge pile which prevented you going on the beech. Spoilt the whole look of the place, toilets in the grounds were being removed and we felt the hotel was closing down for the winter which we know it was not but that how it looked.I would not like to go now and I feel sorry for anyone booked.
Someone in our party has been there four times I think he is mad I would never go back the town is dead nothing there at all. It is the wrong area for a holiday for us and if you like going out near the hotel and walking stopping for coffee and a look around the village, then you would be disappointed Shame as the hotel is first class but in some other position. It is porbably very nice in the summer but the kids would drive you nuts, only a few there now and had everyone complaining as they were running around the restaurant which was a menace and dangerous.

Room Tip: corner room with best views on 3rd and 4th floor 1329,1429

It is very good and lux hotel. Hotel's buffet meal is delicious and succesful. If you went there , you would not want to go any where except night clubs which are called aura and inferno. You should go these club's, and the hotel's employee arrenge to trip there and back.
