“Very good hotel, generally worthy its money”
Reviewed April 18, 2011

Its top quality : The excellent Mediterranean food in terms of quality , quantity, variety and freshness.

Other big qualities : Many and huge spaces , cleanness , good service , lots of amenities , beautiful surrounding natural landscape combining the sea & the mountains as well.

The biggest handicaps : 1. The poor English of some of the staff . Sometimes ,even hard to be understood .
2. Remote place , the car is necessary to go around . Nothing interesting to do out of the hotel .

While the hotel itself is quite nice and clean, with a fanstastic view of the nearby mountain from one side of room, the food and the service was awful. Strangely for a hotel claiming to be a 4 Star, the restaurants completely lacked an understanding of international cuisine. The salads were by far the best as they consisted of freshly picked fruits and vegetables. However, anything that the chef could get his hands on turned to ash in the mouth.
The room itself was quite nice, apart from the lack of any international tv channel on the TV, which again was baffling for an international hotel which should have heard of satellite connections. However, it was nicely located, i.e. right on the beach and there were ample taxies and buses to get one about. Nothing whatsoever to do apart from laze around the hotel or hang out by the beach.

Room Tip: Ideally, just sleep and eat breakfast here. Travel

My friends and I were put up at this hotel for the purpose of a international competition during 7- 12th March, 2011.
Getting there- It is approximately one hour from the Antalya airport and we had a pick up service from the organisers. the easiest way to get there would be to use the local cab service which is not too expensive.
The drive to the hotel was beautiful since the hotel is situated on the beach, so you'll get to drive along the Mediterranean sea which is quite enchanting.
Rooms-Beldibi is a placed squeezed right in between mountains and the sea, making it amazingly scenic. The views from our rooms did capture most of this and that made the rooms a perfect place to be put up. My room was a double room, with all the basics. The good things were- free minibar, efficient room service and the internet service.
However, what was surprising was that the TV had mostlyTurkish channels, barring BBC and CNN, so it wasn't the best thing for English speaking persons.
The rooms were otherwise comfortable and clean.

Hotel Facilities- We had gone to Beldibi at the end of winter, so the weather was not at its best. It was rainy and cold. Additionally, there was renovation work being undertaken at the Hotel causing four of its five pools to be shut down. The snooker table, etc were also not available, however this could have been on our organiser's instructions.
We did'nt really explore all the other facility, but the only attractive option I remember is the Spa which offered certain reasonable services.

Connectivity- Since we were visiting from far off, we wanted to go around this part of Turkey. there is not much to see in Beldibi- so places like Side, Olympos, etc. are places that can be traveled to and back by evening.
But the hotel was not particularly helpful with this. The hotel offered cars that you could drive around, only if you had an international driver's license, so that did not work for us.
However, if you step out you ll probably find local cabs which go to places located even 40 km away. The drivers are quite pleasant but do tend to quote an exorbitant amount initially but then do agree to reasonable rates if you have the patience for it.
The other option is to take the public bus that comes by every 15 mins or so. This service is quite cheap and efficient.
We found the cabs and buses to both be reasonable, so either could be opted for.

Food: We only ate at the buffet and did not try Pasha or any other restaurant in the hotel.
Breakfast was good. However, lunch and dinner seemed to be a bit too repetitive and had much scope for improvement.
In fact, we found the restaurants recommended by the local people much better.

Akka Antedon is one of the many resorts in Beldibi, all located on the beach. So I wouldn't recommend it in particular, however I do think we did land up there at a bad time- in terms of weather- and it probably is better during peak season.

I came to stay for a week on an all inclusive package break. The food was fantastic, Turkish and international, great choice too! Various drinks avaliable and these too were served by friendly staff.
The hotel looks like a 4 / 5 star hotel and it is spacious with lots of places to go to (i liked the cinema, the pool/ spa and the red lounge when it opened in the evenings and disco of one evening!).
When I visited it was out of season, even though the weather was fantastic to me, it was a shame that no drinks / food were served outside.
Guest relations were helpful and friendly but the hotel did not offer any organised trips themselves. I managed to get to Antalya for a couple of days using the local bus but it was a shame the hotel did not provide some info about tourist attractions to do on your own or clear instructions on how to get back to the hotel _ that became part of the adventure anyway!
overall lovely hotel and quiet _ people on vacation as well as those attending conferences. One thing that annoyed me was that the reception wouldny help me to phone my local package man who was organising trips. they said i had to use the phone in the room. I ended up paying about 10 euros for 2 short local calls! i know hotel phones are expensive but!!! That was a shame but I cannot complain about anything else, it was a good break!

I stayed in this hotel last year September. The weather was ofcourse nice, but the hotel was super. We got the free upgrade for the better room, it was nice room with good view to the pool and sea. The hotel is located so nicely that on one side you have sea and other side mountains. The room was very comfortable, though we had some problems with air conditioning. The food in this hotel is great. Breakfast, lunch, dinner...everything is great. We also tryed the Italian restaurant, which was as good. Also we were there for 1 week and the dinner was different every day. I loved the gala dinner with all the sushi :)
We did stay more on the pool as the beach was maybe not that clean and I think the water was more refreshing in the pool then in the sea :)
Entertainment is also great in there. You can go there either with your friends, with your family or just together with partner and there is always something to do. One evening there was white party in the beach. So nice.
Employees are also so nice, specially in the pool bar - making good coctails and really friendly. And ofcourse who could forget the "clap dance" which was danced 3 times a day. Came back home and I am still listening this song in youtube :)
Got to love this place!!! I promise I will come back one day ;)

I stayed here in November 2009. I was astonished at the quality of food that was offered both at lunch and dinner time. A huge selection was provided 'buffet style' catering for virtually all international clients.

The hotel has the following facilities available: fully equipped gymnasium, Turkish bath, massage parlour, cinema, games room, shops, and relaxing lounges and both indoor and out door swimming pools and bars. It has its own private beach.

Nearby facilities such as restaurants and shops are rather poor and basic; so entertainment (live) is really confined to the hotel, however, the tourist resort of Kemmer is only 20 minutes away by bus. And the city of Antalya about 45 minutes from the hotel. Bedrooms and public rooms are of the very highest standard. Service and friendliness is impeccable.
