We stayed there for our honeymoon and it was truly a great choice, everyone made us feel at home, we found roses, a congratulation letter from the GM, breakfast in bed and all that kind of special newly wed service.. the staff were amazing very helpful and friendly, we loved the team of animators who never failed to entertain, their energy and lovely spirit was contagious the whole place pumped up with joy and fun when they were around running their activities or shows. the honeymoon suite was great, it was really comfortable, and the beach was the highlight of the trip with clean sand and clear water.
what can i say, when we left, i felt the need to say goodbye to everyone there because i felt i was leaving my home :)

I stayed at this resort for two weeks at the end of July 2013. The first thing that hit me about this resort was the gardens. The scenery is so beautiful and I was happy to see the gardeners had a tip box as they definitly deserve it!
The general Buffet has a wide range of food to cater for everyone but I would recommend the Safran and Lotus restaurant. The lotus requires a £10 charge however it is worth every penny.
The rooms were large and cleaned daily by the maids who were very friendly.
The piano bar is very nice however during our entire stay, not once was there a performer which I was disappointed by.
The entertainment in the evening was varied each night and the animation team often had visitors involved in the performance which made the experience that much more enjoyable for families with children involved.
The pool games during the day were fun and all of the reps were very friendly and happy to socialise. In particular, Ersin was brilliant. He was welcoming, cheerful and professional at all times.
Overall me and my family had a lovely two weeks and the 40°C temperature allowed us to go home nice and brown. What more could you ask for?

We stayed at this hotel for the last two weeks in July, this was our second visit to the Renaissance. Our previous stay here was in July 2011. It is a fantastic hotel and we enjoyed every aspect of our holiday. Our son and daughter aged 17 and 15 were well looked after and really enjoyed the entertainment during the day and the evening. They played water polo every day, pool games and my daughter enjoyed the dance activities in the afternoon whilst my son played beach volleyball and football. They both participated in the Lion King show, which many of the younger children also had parts. All credit to the entertainment staff for including so many of the children in this spectacular show! There was a selection of evening activities available to suit all tastes, from bingo, karaoke, music quiz to live music and various acrobatic acts and dancers. The food is good and we enjoyed eating at the buffet in the main restaurant and a selection of the a la carte restaurants. We liked to eat lunch at Safran restaurant and were well looked after by Aziz, who after a couple of days, would have our drinks on the table as soon as we had sat down. All the waiters were attentive and our wine glasses and water was constantly topped up during the evening meal. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and there are numerous sunbeds in the garden area and beach. The beach has two short piers where you could sunbathe or swim from. This was a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of June for one week the weather was amazing 36 degrees everyday, the hotel was very clean and the food was absolutely outstanding truly 5* without a doubt, the Sevice was mostly good but staff could of been a bit more attentive when it came to drinks with meals the staff around the pool and beach could at least look as tho they were interested in serving you many reviews before commented on how friendly everyone was we struggled to get a hello half the time maybe it helps if there's plenty up top if you get the meaning.. The maids worked very hard and we always returned to a clean room fresh towels and a fully stocked mini bar. The grounds gardens are very well maintained as are the pools, the sea wasn't great there was a lot of rubbish floating in to the shore no fault of the hotel tho the beach was ok but getting in to the sea was nearly impossible due to all the rocks again no fault of the hotel.
Food at the buffet restaurant was that good each night we didn't try the ala cart restaurants there wasn't any signage to temp you in and no explanation of how you went about eating at them which is properly why they were always quiet we noticed in the afternoons they often set up outside dinning but again nothing to tell you what was happening or what time it was available so be sure to enquire we weren't to fussed because the standard of buffet was so good ,the first choice rep wasn't overly great nothing posted to the rooms regards to days out or sights that were a must see no notice boards, again if we had of been tempted by activities we would have proberly have done them. Entertainment was standard all inclusive the bingo was definetly worth ago plenty of worth while prizes.outside the hotel is a long line of shops with very eager shop keepers prices vary big style so be aware and don't be afraid to carry on walking they are very pushy,go out the hotel and turn right walk for half an hour you will come to the market square maybe worth a look if you like the hard sell bartering.. Over all a very nice hotel and great food we paid £765 per person 4 adults plus one child under 2 it hit the spot for us clean room great food and great pool
Biggest tip I can give take lira not pounds dollar or euro and buy all duty free on the out bound flight
Regards!!

Stayed at a duplex garden villa for the last two weeks in July with my wife and three children, the villa inside was a bit plain and dated, that said the air conditioning was good and the villa was clean, we only realy slept there.
The hotel and especially the grounds were well maintained, smartly decorated and furnished, staff were always on hand at your request to help, you didnt have to wait to be looked after, they were very friendly and not at all pushy.
The facilities were good, a selection of pools dependant upon what you prefer, adult only, small and secluded or big family friendly with slides, all had bars near by for whatever you need. The beach was private and a short walk from the fragrant manacured gardens.
What we really liked as a family was that the kids were looked after, when they wanted to be, the staff were very caring towards them and patient, the restaurant options provided a wide choice of cuisine in fantastic settings. You could choose open air dinning or if you prefer a change from the heat indoor air conditioned dinning.
From the gardeners , to the bar staff, the entertainers , waiters , managers nothing was too much trouble to arrange.
A hotel that you can really relax in and one that i would recommend.

I was completely blown away by the beauty and tranquillity of the grounds and gardens of this hotel. I had high expectations after seeing all the photos posted on Tripadvisor but the place is even better once you're there. Photos cannot reproduce the totally relaxed feel of the place, the incredible smell of the jasmine in the gardens and the wonderful sound of the crickets in the trees.
With the stunning mountain backdrop and the hotel being nestled in amongst the pine forest it felt like paradise. In the words of my 7 year old son, it is very "naturey!"

The hotel is lovely, very large and spacious. There are so many different bars, restaurants and places to sit and relax that even when it got very busy in our last couple of days it never felt overcrowded.

The food was wonderful. We ate in the main restaurant all the time as the buffet suits us best as a family who all have different tastes. There was so much choice, I counted 30 different hot dishes one evening and it was all amazing. The selection of fruit, salad and desserts was lovely, I loved the fresh figs and cherries, fresh sushi and smoked salmon and their baked cheesecake was fantastic. The show cooking was great especially the huge king prawns. Hot dishes were hot and cold ones were well chilled. There were themed nights, Turkish, Mexican, Fish and Chinese which were great, (other dishes were plentiful as well for anyone who did not want the themed dishes,) so we didn't feel the need to go to the a la carte restaurants. We may have been tempted if there had been menus to view, maybe the management could think about adding these outside each venue. I loved eating outside on the restaurant terrace, it was a lovely setting and during breakfast and lunch there was relaxing music played very quietly in the background. Inside was lovely and cool though with the air con if you wanted a break from the heat.

The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly and were great with the children. In fact we found all the staff very helpful and always smiling. Not many spoke fluent English but we always managed to make ourselves understood so this was not a problem.

Our room was a villa room in the gardens, overlooking the villa's private pool. At first I was a bit disappointed as it seemed very dark as they are hidden amongst the trees but I soon realised this meant it was cool and shady. It had a good size terrace with a table for 4.
The room itself was large and had everything we needed. Two sleeping areas, a large bedroom for us, with the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in, and a good size sofa bed for the kids to share in the lounge area. Each room had a wardrobe with hanging space and drawers, a dressing table, separately controlled air con, and a tv. There was a free safe in the kids wardrobe. The bathroom had a bath with very powerful shower. As many others have commented the rooms are a bit old fashioned and could do with updating, but large, comfortable and clean. Also very quiet, even during the evening entertainment.

The pools were great. Both the relax pool and villa pools are very quiet, the main pool is more a hive of activity but never too noisy. I'm not a fan of entertainment teams but they would not try and persuade you to join in if you didn't want to and when the games were on they only took up a small area of the pool. Music played most of the time but not too loudly. The bar was handy and kept small bottles of water on ice that you could help yourself to. My daughter, aged 10, enjoyed drinking slush puppys at the swim up bar with her friends. The kids enjoyed the slides and the lifeguards were very attentive, they were at every pool and the beach.

The beach was better than I'd expected. It is quite stony in places but that didn't seem to worry the kids and we all enjoyed diving off the pier. The sea was warm but extremely salty. The beach bar had a freezer where you could help yourself to ice creams.

There was never a problem with sunbeds. I've been to other hotels where you need to reserve one at the crack of dawn but this was not the case here. I would usually put our towels out on the way to breakfast, 8.30 to 9ish, and there were loads and loads free. We always got our favourite spot!

The kids enjoyed the table tennis and crazy golf which were in a lovely shady spot in the gardens. They also liked meeting up with other children in the games room after our evening meal. This was great, computers and games consoles, all free, to entertain the kids giving us time for a quiet after dinner drink in the bar.

We went to 2 shows in the amphitheatre and enjoyed both, the Lion King was lovely as they involved children who attended the kids club and the costumes were amazing. We also saw the Shaolin show, also good.
There were singers in the main terrace bar each evening, some better than others! One night there was bingo and karaoke which is really not my thing but there are plenty of places to go to avoid it! But we often sat inside in the piano bar where it was quieter and cooler.

We didn't use the spa or kids club so I can't comment on these.

I would love to return to this hotel one day although we do like to try new places. I'm considering trying another Paloma hotel next year as our experience here was so good. A big thank you to all the staff.

Room Tip: Villa rooms are very quiet, cool and shady, and have good air con.

This resort is magnificent. It is a beautiful place: the Turkish style lobby. the gardens, the pools, and the beach.. It is located right between the mountains and the Sea and offers breath-taking views of both.

The pools are very large and clean. They have 3 different slides which are a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. If you don't want kids around there is a separate secluded pool.

The resort keeps the beach very clean, in spite of the garbage that sometimes washes out from the Sea (it is hard to understand why people would litter the sea). The chairs and shade are nicely spaced so that you feel very comfortable, and they were always available.

Housekeeping is excellent. The room was always immaculate and they refreshed the towels during the day. Reception does a great job and they are very helpful (special thanks to Yeliz).

This is, basically, an all-inclusive resort. The food at the buffets (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is good, with a huge selection of Turkish and international dishes. The a-la-carte restaurants are excellent. You only have to pre-book one day in advance through a convenient automated system. We tried the Turkish, seafood and International restaurants. Service and food were outstanding. You get a 5-6 course meal with choices that will satisfy every palate.

The two issues that I see as opportunities for improvement are the drinks and the disco. They offer acceptable drinks only at the lobby bar. The beach bar is stocked with Russian whiskey (c'mon...really?) and "El Mariachi" Tequila (agave not included). The free Turkish wines are barely adequate. You can get better brands but at an extra charge. The disco plays mainly hip-hop. So very few people dance, if any. The DJ needs to be sensitive to the audience, not just play what he likes. We tried 3 times and it was a bust every one of them.

There is entertainment every night at the lobby bar, and a 30-40 minute show at the Amphitheater. All of these are pretty good. and the lobby bar fills to capacity when the music plays.

Taxi to the airport takes about one hour and costs around 50-60 Euros.
