Just came back from a 14 day stay. In no way could I fault the hotel the rooms were excellent and the waiters were attentive especialy sephi and dinar. Food was good and varied and plenty to eat and drink. A bit of advice though is to put the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door at night or you will get a early morning room service call. The only down side is that in November most of the surrounding shops were closed and therefor no where to walk to. But for chilling out and reading your book could not rate the hotel high enough with plenty of grounds to walk around.

Room Tip: Facing the hotel the rooms on the right get more sunshine the ones on the left none

We arrived at the hotel after a long journey, tired and worn out after a very speedy and welcoming check in to our added surprise they had upgraded us to two beautiful garden suites with a huge terrace with stunning views of the mountains and gardens - wow! The beds were superb really deep mattresses with lots of pillows and huge. The rooms were kept immaculate. This hotel is run extremely well with the staff doing their upmost at all times. Fresh fruit was brought round on carts in the day by the pool which was lovely and refreshing and the sea piers were great too as they avoided the rocks. Food was superb and we tried the a la carte restaurants again very good and the kids were made a fuss of. We went in October and were lucky with the weather as it was just right in the 20's. Pool area was so clean and a beautiful view with the mountains in the background, you feel totally relaxed. A nice selection of people too. Our kids loved the rainbow cocktails the bar staff used to make them. They were just getting ready for Halloween as we were leaving and the displays look fab we were just disappointed we were not staying longer. We were so pleased we chose this hotel after checking on Trip Advisor and it truly deserves it's number one slot. There are management staff constantly walking around checking everything is smoothly running and the free wifi in the regal marble reception area was a bonus too as our kids could keep in touch with their friends if they needed too and skype their grandparents. It was a perfect balance as it was such a tonic for myself as being a busy mum constantly on the go completely relaxed and enjoyed being looked after for a rare week in my busy year and the kids had fun on the slides and pools and again thank you for the upgrade to those lovely rooms with those divine beds. Felt completely safe and would definately go back, we have booked the Voyage next summer as have heard and read some good reports, so will be comparing the two. I think though that if in need for some time out from your busy life book this as the grounds, gardens, mountains and food will be a tonic to your soul and the kids will be happy too which makes for a perfect holiday. My kids loved the cats and if you leave them alone they leave you alone nice that the hotel looks after them they are completely clean and vaccinated and under vetinerary care so you will be fine. Well done and a big thank you to all at Paloma Renaissance we had a fantastic time.

Room Tip: Garden Suite huge balcony with lovely loungers

A great hotel. Go there and unwind. We swam in the sea in November, no problem.
At times, you would think it was late August.

The gardens are great, especially the Jasmine.

Food and drink on tap, great as we went all inclusive.

Great staff, always there to serve and be helpful.

The room and hotel was perfect. Indoor pool and sauna, a bonus.

Go there and enjoy an all inc' holiday. It's great value. 11 nights of pure self indulgence.

Just returned from another stay 7 night at this wonderful hotel for our Kurban Bayram (Eid el Adha) holiday week. This year there was my wife and I, our 3 year old son, my parents-in-law (69,74) plus my mother (77), and they all enjoyed their stay very much.

This year we stayed in the main hotel building, and found the rooms to be large, well laid out, with ample storage and good quality furniture. Again, the bedding was luxurious thick cotton with a mountain of pillows, all piled on to an enormous comfy bed. The split-room styled double room worked just great, with the ‘entrance/lounge’ area utilised by our son, affording us some privacy, and enabling us to watch TV in the evenings when he slept. It is worth mentioning that the sofa bed he had was surprisingly large, and fully set up with the same high quality bedding by housekeeping upon our arrival.

Food was still as good, with masses of choice and all of a high standard as one would expect from a Renaissance hotel. The oriental restaurant (Lotus) is now chargeable (10 Euros), but it was well worth it, as it now offers a first class meal, with a sufficient menu, plentiful portions and excellent tasty dishes. In addition, we tried the Seasons restaurant, which now caters for an International cuisine, although is still essentially a French restaurant. This time it was part of the Ultra All Inclusive package, so well worth a visit, if you enjoy fine dining, with no kids, no noise etc (subject to ‘mum’ doing a kid-sitting session, enabling us to have a private meal for the 2nd time in 4 years).

The grounds are still immaculately kept, with constant rejuvenation of the more mature areas so that the whole grounds are a joy to walk, or run, around at your leisure.

The staff are the greatest asset of this hotel. Some new faces, but many we knew from a year ago. Their dedication to their guests is paramount, but more importantly, they all seem to thoroughly enjoy what they do, and that is obvious from the smiles, friendly greetings and attention to detail we came to see, day in day out (from the reception staff, to catering, to housekeeping, to ground keepers, to the waiting staff). A few of the most noteworthy are Arif (competent, caring reception manager), Süreyya (garden and beach cleaner extraordinaire), Mustafa (the professional, talented and incredibly strong masseur), Dilan (efficient, friendly coffee bar waitress), and Ece (kids club – as professional as any we have encountered in private pre-schooling). Even the bell-boy remembered us from last year, even down to which apartment block we were in, and what type/colour car we drove! (ok, so ours was probably the oldest wreck ever to be let in the gates there, but still, impressive service).

The final note is about the spa. Still superb, prices competitive, service outstanding, premises first class, and the treatments and massages are out of this world (all 5 of us used it this year on almost a daily basis, and all 5 certainly enjoyed the pampering!) Belgin runs a really professional, efficient and friendly operation, very impressive all round.

Would we go back, for sure....

Recently returned from a 2 week stay in October. Could not fault the hotel, all first class as well recorded in Trip Advisor, and our holiday got off to a great start.
Unfortunately after 3-4 days Ernst & Young (finance group) arrived for a one week 'jolly' with 100++ young graduates, some of whom had no consideration for anybody else. When their leisure time clashed with the other hotel guests (meal times, swimming pool, bar) they just pushed everybody else out of the way and took over.
It spoilt a week of our holiday and feel Ernst & Young should have told their graduates how to behave and show more respect to paying guests in a 5 star hotel

The first time to write a review, but Renaissance was so wonderful, I am taking the time. I stayed all inclusive, for half term week, with my 14 year old daughter and my 89 year old mother - no mean feat! We arrived in the early hours to be welcomed by the lovely Mustafa, given a drink and taken straight to our rooms. We had two rooms in the main hotel and they were both lovely. My bed was huge, with lots of sumptuous pillows and there were two king size beds in my mum and daughter's room. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day by the delightful maid, Fatima. The hotel feels opulent with an impressive reception area, a fitness suite, a games room, shops, a patisserie, an indoor pool with sauna etc and big comfy sofas. Some people must be near impossible to please because the food was amazing. I have OCD over food and find it hard to eat out, but not at the Renaissance. It was spotless. There was a superb salad and fruit bar, about 20 different fresh breads, a large selection of hot dishes and deserts and an ice cream section. My daughter is a vegetarian and my mum loves meat and we were all satisfied at every meal. Breakfast is always served with freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee. The quality of the food was only surpassed by the quality of the staff. They were polite, friendly and so hard working. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table and were happy to have a cocktail in the piano bar . A special thank you to Gokhan and Gengis who worked so hard and made us feel very spoilt. The staff in the piano bar also worked so hard all night bringing drinks to everyone.
The gardens were beautiful. It was wonderful relaxing in the gardens where there were always enough sunbeds, even though some people felt the need to go down at 7am, in dressing gowns to put towels on them! Yes, they were German. The beach was also lovely. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy the sun.
There are shops directly opposite the hotel and if you turn left and walk along the road there is a great bazaar for pressies. The bus to Kemer goes outside the hotel and costs 4lr. Kemer is a great shopping place but beware of the hard sellers. Don't buy perfume it's all fake!! The marina is nice for a walk. My daughter and I had a turkish bath which we were very nervous about but it was relaxing and a great laugh. They chose a woman to massage my daughter, which made her feel less nervous. My daughter also did the Thomas Cook dive trip and we spent the day on a boat which was wonderful. The company who took us were great fun.
We had a disaster which should have completely spoiled our holiday but didn't due to the Renaissance and the kind Turkish people. My mother fell getting on the bus in Kemer and ripped her leg open badly. With the help of turkish bus drivers we got her to the hospital and although we had to pay, they delivered a first class service. The porter who ran with a wheelchair to get my mum into emergency, the team of doctors and nurses who treated her immediately were all brilliant. She needed an x-ray which was done within minutes, no waiting. No-one in the hospital spoke english, but a really lovely waiter who was being treated in the hospital, stayed with me and acted as translator the whole time we were there. Back at the hotel I was worried that I had no money left to pay the hotel doctor to look after my mum, but one word from Stephanie the Thomas Cook rep, to Ali the manager and he reassured me that she could see the doctor whenever she needed, free of charge. So kind. The doctor was so sweet and kind to my mum. The kindness and care he gave her will never be forgotten by us. Every turkish person we encountered, with the exception of a bus driver from hell, was a pleasure. A special thank you to Stephanie the TC rep. who came to the hotel every morning, so was always on hand with good advice and really helped me when my mum was hurt. Renaissance was a fantastic place and I would love to return without the drama!! We had an added bonus of meeting Harry Potter and his lovely wife. Oooh! nearly forgot, the cats were gorgous. We had a little tabby kitten that came and cuddled up to my daughter when we were by the pool, made it feel like home.
