what a beautiful location this agriturismo is located in, the views and vistas all around are simply stunning. The Locanda is located a mere 25 minute drive from Bologna airport, yet is in the heart of the countryside. The accommodation was a spacous dobule room, with a great wet room, and included free wi-fi, well stocked mini-bar, free safe. There was also a lovely pool with amazing views of the surrounding rolling hills and country side. Breakfast was included and we had a great choice of fruits, yoghurts, cereal, eggs and pasteries to name but some of the choice. We had dinner here also on both nights and the restaurant was a hive of activity with delicious dishes to choose from and local Barbera wine. Overall a superb relaxing stay and incredibly good value for money.

We recently stayed at this agriturismo with friends and had a wonderful holiday. It is situated on a ridge overlooking vineyards. The owner/family/staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is of an excellent standard - the robes/slippers an added bonus! The pool area is clean and has excellent views across the valley which is covered mostly by vineyards. The whole area is very good for sightseeing/walking with some lovely towns nearby. Modena is easily driveable and Bologna is also only a 40minute (cheap!) train ride away. The restaurant is typical local cuisine serving mainly grills (as seconde) eg: pork/beef and the breakfast was also very good. There are also several other very good restaurants in the area eg: Trattoria del Borgo at Monteveglio. Would not hesitate to recommend and cannot wait to return Emilia Romagna - a hidden jewel :)

Stayed with our three children (aged 11,12 and 17) in two rooms for 4 nights. The setting is beautiful, overlooking vineyards. The pool is lovely with fantastic views. Everything was spotless. We had an extra bed in one of the rooms but there was still plenty of space.
A particular highlight is the restaurant run by the owners, wonderful food in an outdoor setting (there's also indoor, but the weather was great while we were there), packed with people every night. (As a guest they automatically reserve you a table which is probably necessary due to the restaurants popularity). It wouldve been easy to stay here the whole time, but there are plenty of sights close by such as Bologna, Modena, Ravenna and Maranello (definitely a must to see the Ferrari gallery). We also went to Pisa and Florence. Definitely a brilliant place to relax and unwind, but close enough to lots of beautiful places to visit as well. A real pleasure to stay there.
