“Fabulous and Consistent”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

We have eaten here two summers running and on both occasions were delighted - its a highlight of our summer holidays.
The service is particularly noteworthy - so engaging, intelligent and professional as well as being very warm and welcoming.
We tend to go snorkelling first, doing le sentiere sous marine, then change, have dinner - a perfect day out.

“"End of the Earth"”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

The restaurant is on the beach just about 3 miles north of Cerbere and you cannot see it from the highway. It is worth going a little out of your way if you want fantastic food and service at a very reasonable price with a beautiful view. They have one set price menu;E20 or you can choose a la carte. The E20 menu was excellent value with freshly cooked, tasty food. The restaurant is run by a young couple. The wife translated the whole menu to us. The nameof the restaurant means End of the Earth, well worth the trip!!

“More than well worth navigating the crazy beach-access road”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

I can't recommend/rate this restaurant highly enough. We ate there twice this past Spring (2012); a lunch that was so good we just had to come back for dinner.
The dishes were inventive, (how wonderful not to have the same old "formula" options as trotted out time and again as in so many middle-range French restaurants); the ingredients totally fresh and the presentation aesthetic and imaginative.
The staff were friendly and chatty but not overly intrusive, the decor an interesting and cleverly presented collection of French 'broconte' items.
Its well worth hunting out Le Bout de Monde, its not well sign-posted and the road down to beach needed work back in the Spring so take your map or GPS. You won't regret the effort to find the place.
