Certainly this is among the best meals we have had in France. Yes we did have to order our desserts at the start of the meal, as complained of by another reviewer, but to create such culinary masterpieces takes time, and avoids a large wait, so that their preparation could commence as we started our main course, and not when we finished it. This restaurant takes its food very seriously! Local olives, brochettes of prawns, superb steak with an interesting and flavoursome collection of fresh vegetables, followed by macaroons with three flavours of home-made ice cream, were all superb. The service was friendly yet professional, the ambience created in this old farmhouse with its vaulted ceiling was warm and inviting. It was a truly memorable evening.
