We were recommended this place while staying locally with HPB. Four of us reserved a table for dinner. It immediately struck me that just about every customer was a Brit from the HPB site thougha few locals did turn up later. The decor is nothing special, but pleasant enough and the welcome was warm. It was offputting though that the menu was in hand-written Italian and it was difficult to decipher it. The waitress was happy to explain every dish though.
Service was leisurely but fast enough and there was a reasonably good choice once we had worked out what was what. Primo plattos were around 9 euros and secondo plattos from 12 to 18. Four of us paid 114 euros including a bottle of wine, but not coffee or desserts.
An enjoyable meal but not of the highest order.
