We've visited the Ginger Factory several times and always enjoy it. Buderim Ginger is one of the best-known brands in Australia, and the factory is very interesting to visit. There's a short train loop of the grounds, as well as various tours, and an excellent shop with all their produce (including cheaper seconds) on sale. Free entry but fees for the tours and train ride.

This was our 1st visit and it won't be our last! I went herewith low expectations having lived in Darwin where most of these attractions are stuck in a bygone era. This place was great, great shop, lovely cafe (although very busy and I think they went to Columbia for the coffee, but it was school holidays)a couple of rides for the kids and a great playground. The food and coffee were worth the wait, the ice cream was pretty good too. Free entry to the cafe, shops and playground. Nice clean facilities and nice tropical surrounds. The receptionist gave us a free pass to see if we liked it, then told us we could buy an annual pass next time we come! We took 6 adults and 5 kids (infant, 2y/o, 3y/o, 4y/o & 6y/o) we all loved it and are looking forward to coming back. Well worth a visit, even just for a coffee and let the kids run around the playground.

Free to get in, and has a playground and café. Train ride is good, boat ride was excellent for the kids - and under 4 is free rides. Food was good. The garden they have built is fantastic for a little exploring the "rainforest". There were some tacky looking shops that we didn't go into, but I've got to say this is a great way to spend a few hours if you have little kids on the sunshine coast.

Big shop, more shops inside. Train rides for kids. Little tours for which you pay extra.

It's like a Ginger Theme Park. Not my cup of tea, but great for kids and families, I suppose.

Had a ginger ice cream at Bliss. It was good.

Nut Factory across the road was closed due to fire. Did not visit that.

We visit the Ginger Factory often (locals) and we love it when we have to wait to enter as the train passes the entrance. This time we went as Jungle George and the Golden Ginger, Free show was on for the school holidays (great show). The kids love the new playground and I think it was well thought out as little toddlers have a separate area, very safe. We always ride the train and sometimes the overboard boats which is reasonably priced. An ice cream is also our favourite thing to do, while sitting in the garden area. The cottage shops are wonderful, gift shop has a variety to look at, smell and buy. We always leave feeling happy as you don't have to spend alot to have a great time.
