Today we took 9 members of our family to the ginger factory. It was a very hot and humid day. When the ginger factory was at Buderim it was smaller and a lot cheaper. We were given a good price for a couple of tours one being the train ride ,the other being the factory that explained how ginger grows. Unfortunately with 24 people in a tin shed with only three rooms to see it was very crowded and not worth the money if you paid full price. The small tasting plate at the end of the tour was nice but very small. We had lunch before the train ride and the food was very average. The cafe area is all open and as such had no air conditioning and it was so hot it was unpleasant . The train ride was nice but very short and the seats uncomfortable and again not worth it. All in all we all were very disappointed and would not really recommend it. It could be a great place if the prices were lowered.

My partner and I always stop here to get the sauce that he likes. We were here in the New Year and saw the brochure for the flower and food festival. He works in WA so I took my mother up last Sunday! We thoroughly enjoyed our day!! Checked out the cooking in the Ginger Room with amazing chefs!!! Looked at the amazing plants for sale, and as always had a nice lunch with gorgeous scones for dessert!! Have been on the train ride before so can highly recommend the Ginger Factory for a stop to or fro the Sunshine Coast. The gardens are just awesome!!

Lovely gardens, great attractions for the kids and I always enjoy visiting the spice shop - great value! I love the new addition of the park though the individual gates are a little annoying for tired mums! Was really hot today so we didn't stay for lunch because it felt a bit still but that's the first time I have noticed. We bought annual passes as my kids just live coming time and time again. So worth a visit to step back in time for the simple pleasures!

We have just come back from a lovely day out at the Ginger Factory. The tour through the factory was very interesting and informative. To end off the tour there was some treats to taste and to get some different ideas on how to use their products. It is a great place to take the family as there is plenty for the little ones to do there.

We have visited the Ginger Factory possibly every time we have visited the Sunshine Coast. It is a great place to spend an hour or several hours. The ginger tour is worth doing and especially the end where they show you some great ideas for using their ginger products. We still buy the ginger refresher from our local grocery store which makes a lovely refreshing beverage.

The cafe is also great and has some lovely food options and the the aioli that they put onto the chicken burger is amazing.

Definitely worth a visit and we will visit again for sure.
