Today we took 9 members of our family to the ginger factory. It was a very hot and humid day. When the ginger factory was at Buderim it was smaller and a lot cheaper. We were given a good price for a couple of tours one being the train ride ,the other being the factory that explained how ginger grows. Unfortunately with 24 people in a tin shed with only three rooms to see it was very crowded and not worth the money if you paid full price. The small tasting plate at the end of the tour was nice but very small. We had lunch before the train ride and the food was very average. The cafe area is all open and as such had no air conditioning and it was so hot it was unpleasant . The train ride was nice but very short and the seats uncomfortable and again not worth it. All in all we all were very disappointed and would not really recommend it. It could be a great place if the prices were lowered.
