“Ginger paradise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

If you love ginger and all that can be made from it, then this is your spot. The grounds are well kept with a lovely short walk through shaded gardens. My husband and son enjoyed an intense battle of strategy on the giant checkers board. There are also souvenirs aplenty in a variety of old styled buildings. It is worth a look.

Thank you Ann G for your comments. Your review has highlighted what a enjoyable time can be had at The Ginger Factory without having to spend a cent! The recently installed checkers board in our rainforest clearing is the perfect place for a picnic on a warm Spring day. When you next visit for your checkers 'rematch' make sure you call past our Café, order lunch and they will pack you a picnic basket along with picnic rug to enjoy out in our beautiful rainforest clearing.

“Not worth it.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

I didn't see what all the hyp was about this place, as found it was not worth the money spent. The restaurant was average with not much appeal and the train trip was cute but also not great. All in all I felt it was a waste of time going there.

“Pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

We visited the Ginger Factory several years ago and decided to go back for another look. We were pleasantly surprised to find that improvements have been made to make the attraction more appealing to all age groups. My daughter loved the train ride and the shops and got some good bargains from the doll shop. The factory tour is interesting and worthwhile especially if you are a ginger lover.

“worthwhile place to visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

this is paradise for ginger lovers and a worthwhile place for others to visit as well. Tour the working ginger factory; take the ginger train; and taste some very well prepared food and drink containing ginger

“Cute rides & tours”

Love love love the boat ride tour & the train was nice also. Don't get suckered into purchasing from the overpriced shops although the dolls houses & furniture are lovely.
