Great experience, something you must do whilst visiting Levi. There was also the cutest little black and white cat I wish I could have bought hime with me. Excellent customer service and people. Highly recommend.

What an amazing experience, first the noise and excitements of the dogs and then the complete exhilaration and tranquility of the ride. The dogs just want to get to work. They having great temperaments and love been fussed. Great knowledge and information from Maria. Well worth booking this trip.

Our visit was organised by Inghams. It cost 75 Euros each. You are taken to the husky farm by coach which takes about 15 minutes. You see all the dogs and get a safety talk. Before you are allowed out with your dogs you have to sign a disclaimer and acknowledge that you understand how to drive and stop the sledge.
You get six racing dogs and a sledge. They are anchored front and back until you are ready, then off they go. You start off on a flat lake but soon weave your way through the trees. It does get a bit exciting but the dogs know what they are up to. Just trust them and hold on tight. The ride takes about 30 minutes and you cover about 10 kilometres . At the end you get a `cook it yourself `sausage and a hot, non alcoholic drink.
Without exception everyone enjoyed the ride.

Maria from the Husky Farm was very good and took a lot of time explaining about the dogs, but the actual sled ride was only 2.8km and didn't take very long at all. After the sled ride and you have had your sausage and drink in the cotter, there is a lot of spare time while waiting for the bus to return to Levi.
