Booked a boat tour for the evening, designed to watch for the lights. Sadly, the lake was starting to freeze so we had to stay docked. (We were prepared for this as the website mentioned it could happen). Had a good time enjoying sausages and crepes while marveling in the beautiful Finland sky. Northern lights made a nice “rainbow” for us to top off the evening. Mika was great!

Was with a group of Asians and Finns with a reservation to rent snowmobiles. If you don’t have a drivers license in either Finnish or English, they won’t rent to you unless you have an official translation in English endorsed by the police in your home country. Me (from Thailand) and my Japanese friend were refused a rental. Pathetic.

Went on 4 guys trip (1 scooter each) to the snowvillage with GoT theme. Total duration was 6h. Great guide. Great trip(very good price comparing to Safaris one). What we did not fully know was that they provide with almost anything you need(gloves, helmet, jacket, shoes, pants etc). The machines were fairly new with great power... 6 hours of pure fun! The snowvillage was great too.

A group of seven of us took the 25km snowmobile safari. There was plenty of warm kit to choose from (trouser, coats, gloves, helmets and boots) and the was in-depth instructions on how the mobiles work and the rules of the tracks. We started of slowly but sped up and were able to open them up a little bit on the frozen lakes. We stopped for coffee and biscuits. Anu was a great host and answered all our questions. The tracks are a mix of forests and lake and it is a great experience that took around 2 hours. Highly recommended.

I was more than a little nervous, but with the support and encouragement from the friendly staff, i experienced a superb safari. Seeing great views, snack around a camp fire and Oli's expertise of knowledge, made my first safari, the first of many!

We used this company for a snowmobiling excursion, we had 3 children with us and the guide (I cannot remember his name) was absolutely fantastic with them!

I have been on many excursions before, but his manner was brilliant!

The equipment we used was top quality, and the tour itself was beautiful, we all really enjoyed ourselves.

If you never have driven a snowscooter before, you are suposed to lear it in 5 minutes! Then you take off and drive so fast with very bad sight, due of the freezing helmet-screen. It's really irresponsible. The guide tells you that you can drive your own speed, but without seeing anything it's still irresponsible.
Unfortunately i crashed a tree. Thank god i didn't get hurt to bad, a few bruises...but it could have been much worse. So by driven my own speed, i was behind of the group and it took the guide almost 10 minutes to show up....what if!!!!
Back at the office there was no interest in my well beeing only the bill that had to be paid for the damage of the snowscooter!
You have to sign for € 1000,- deductable, and off course the costs were over € 1000,-. There is no way you can check any of that, you just have to pay.
WARNING: YOUR INSURANCECOMPANY DOES NOT COVER THESE DAMAGECOSTS!
Just like renting a car you should be able to purchase insurance at the snowscooter office.
So please do not rent at this office, but choose a responsible company, that only drives with good visability and doesn't go so crazy fast.

The tour is well organised, security is taken seriously and the equipment is good. The landscape is breathtaking and the location for the coffee break was nice.

One tip: do not start the engine too soon at the start of the tour. We had 12 snowmobiles today, and waiting in the middle of it does not smell too nice.
