You have to try this if you’re in the area. Great set up by the team that work for this company, friendly and safe. At one point despite the many layers we had on we thought we might lose a couple of toes... but that’s just flavour to add to the storytelling.

Thankfully we didn’t lose any toes, but we did have an amazing time!

I have always seen photos of husky rides in the snow and this experience did not disappoint! We were picked up from the information centre and taken to a husky farm about 30mins away from the town centre of Levi. It was a beautiful place with traditional tipi tents with open fires inside for people to keep ‘warm’ in. Half the group went out on the sledge rides whilst the other half had sausages and hot drinks in the tents. At the end there was an opportunity to stroke and play with the husky’s. I was worried they would appear overworked and unhappy however they are clearly very well cared for and they were incredibly excited to pull the sledges! Afterwards they were happy to be stroked and cuddled and were clearly very well trained good natured dogs.
We also had an opportunity to feed reindeer and see the rest of the dogs enclosures.
I would say make sure you wrap up! Feet and hands get extremely cold during this activity and it’s hard to keep warm out on the sledges!
I would certainly recommend this activity when in Levi!

We booked our husky sledge ride through the Levi tourist information centre. The transport minibus arrived on time and the member of staff checked our details and was very friendly. The drive from Levi to the farm was only 10 to 15 minutes. We were greeted by the owner and his wife. It was very obvious from the start that this is what they and their staff enjoy doing!! All were very friendly but professional at the same time. They care about their dogs and make sure the visiting public aren't going to harm the dogs or themselves. During the ride the owners wife (sorry can't remember her name) appeared along side on a skidoo to check if we were OK. All staff use 2-way radio to keep in contact with the group. On return we had sausage and berry juice to warm up. Then we were taken to meet and feed their reindeer. Lastly were allowed to get stroke and meet up close the huskies. Really great time. Would throughly recommend a visit to Tundra Huskies.

What a wonderful place and such great people looking after 80+ Huskies. We were soooo looking out for this event before going to Lapland and it was more than we expected and a really great experience. Lucky to be with my great familie and no other visitors, Just us party of Seven to do the 10km ride. Tom, Mina and team are exceptional people looking very well after their 80+ Huskies.
Would love to do it again sometime.

Very enthusiastic owners that take good care of their dogs. Perfectly organised and thoroughly enjoyable event. The unexpected sunny weather played its part too and did showcase the beautiful landscape of Finnish Lapland!

What kind, knowledgeable, professional people. Tom and Minna are amazing with the dogs, and excellent at what they do. Our group of 14 were all very impressed. Thank you!

Three of us booked this once in a lifetime experience. We had a bit of a health emergency due to the cold weather mid ride, and they handled the situation perfectly. I was so impressed with their professionalism and quick solution to the health issue. They were kind and compassionate and the huskies themselves were remarkable.

We booked this as our final experience from Lapland and it didn't disappoint.
The drive to the safari was short and the briefing we received on arrival was efficient, safe and delivered with good humour.
To drive a sled with six huskies is really an amazing thing to do and within moments we were feeling confident, respectful and truly grateful.
we swapped half way and continued this 'taster' session. We'd certainly go back for a long trek given the chance, we hope that there is a next time for us.
Afterwards we had time to mix with the dogs and share a cuddle and a lick. These are truly wonderful animals and they had earned our respect and gratitude.
The owners were informative, open, friendly and welcoming.
We were fortnuate to have taken on a load of outings on this holiday, I think this was THE highlight!

We had been husky sledding before elsewhere and enjoyed it a lot so we booked a sledding experience with Tundra Huskies when we visited Levi. Tom and his wife, the owners, were really friendly and knowledgeable, and obviously cared a lot for the dogs. We were picked up on time from the Levi Tourist Info office, and taken to their husky and reindeer farm. It was like a winter wonderland because of all the snow and snowy forests, and cold but pleasant. We were given instructions and a safety briefing on how to ride, and then split into 2 groups - we were in the first group and rode first, then had hot berry juice and grilled sausages on a fire in a hut afterwards to warm up. The 5km ride (about 20 minutes) itself was really fun, I would probably do a longer one next time. We also got to meet and feed reindeer’s after our ride, and then meet the huskies which were all lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for a visit and sledding experience.

They might be doing this every day but the dogs can't wait to get into their work! (Unlike some other tourist operators!) It was great to see the way Tom and his team have built up and look after their animals. Driving a dogsled for 15km was an exceptional experience, you have to hang on the back and stand on the brake quite a bit so they don't get away from you, but this was all explained by Tom before we got going. Only thing, with both mittens and gloves on, my hands got a bit frozen - still it was -31 degrees C. I'll try and get there again!
