And that is all I can complain about. The rooms are clean and tidy. The beds are clean and comfortable and the room has a kettle, fridge, cuboards and a drying cupboard for your wet clothes. perefectly adeqtate for the amount of time that you are likely to stay in the room. The steam shower is lovely after being out in the minus temperatures. The only thing I would say is that the room doors are metal and can be noisy if left to bang by other guests and the only other noise is people banging the snow off their shoes in the corridor - yes you ready that correctly! On the corrdior carpet.

The main hotel is lovely with plenty of comfortable seating areas in the lounge and bar areas and rooms next to the main restaurant areas to change and store your over clothing and boots whilst you eat. There is plenty of choices for food. And if you pace yourselves over a few days and not have "a little bit of everything" as is often the temptation, you will not find the menu repetitive. The dining room can get very busy at peak times but we did not ever find that we were unable to be seated, except on the "gala nights" run by the tour operators, that are rather chaotic.

As you usually have to hand your snow suits back quite a few hours before you depart, I would recommend that you still take hats, gloves and scarves etc, so that you can continue to enjoy the snow until you depart. Often the tour operators will put on a firework display outside, AFTER you have handed your gear back!

I would be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: I would suggest that you shop around and consider booking any trips through the local tourist inform...

I booked this holiday before reading the reviews of the hotel so was slightly worried when I saw some of the comments. However, all my fears were dispelled on arrival. Our Inghams rep was very good and arranged the coach to pull up close to the annex so we didnt have to pull our cases through the snow. Although the annexed rooms dont appear to be very inviting on first glance there was nothing to complain about when we got inside; state of the art shower!. Rooms were cleaned every day, and towels changed frequently.
The food was good with plenty of choice and a serve yourself buffet.
Although Aurora didnt show, the ski-ing was great with lovely weather, good instruction.
Overall we loved our trip.

Just come back from a weeks stay here. Room perfectly adequate, clean, warm, comfortable. Fridge, microwave, sauna in bathroom. Food was very nice, you would have to be very fussy to not find something you liked. We liked almost everything! Too busy so did not even see spa until the last day! Very nice lounge / bar area. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. 5 min. walk to Zero Point / Kids land and ski bus stops outside if you want to go to South Pistes. (Reception sell bus tickets). Will review Resort on the Levi Ski page. Went with Inghams for 3 rd time who were as usual very efficient.

Second skiing holiday in Levi in three years and this time at the Crazy Reindeer, chosen for central location, price and good food reviews.
It is most attractive at night with lots of fairy/xmas lights and the various buildings lit up over a few acres in the snow. Main building has good facilities, snack/bar and main buffet restaurant for half board guests on top floor.
We found the food to be much better than the more expensive Levitunturi hotel where we stayed on our last trip.
Rooms in the main block were better then those in the Crazy Reindeer block, plus its a short walk in Arctic gear to the (main block) buffet - but the real reason to book CR rooms is the shower !!
Its a spaceship, with touchscreen panel controls, steam, massage jets, lights, music, ozone - instant party! Where do you you buy one in the UK??
The hotel is good value and recommended at the price.

Since its a critical review though, any niggles we had are below:
* The Crazy Reindeer block looks like a Butlins accomodation block during the day
* The hotel has many other themed restaurants to try if you tire of the (prepaid) buffet but when you are only allowed 10 euros toward the meal cost (instead of the 27 euros buffet cost) its not an attractive proposition.
* The buffet restaurant played a loop Celine Dion CD every night - agghhh!!
* Checkout arrangements were not great. When you have to checkout 7 hours before you leave the hotel and you are going skiing with all the requisite gear - you really need a room to repack/shower/dress etc etc. Having to do this in communal fashion in the basement beside the toilets is not great and a throwback to the old package holiday days - Hi De Hi. Come on Inghams, you can do much better than this for your clients.

We travelled to Levi for New Year. Levi itself is magical...a must! It is everything we ever dreamed of!

The hotel was ok. We arrived in the evening after travelling all day only to find that the mezzanine (our daughters bedroom) had not been cleaned. There was packaging and bits of paper rubbish all over the floor. We reported to reception, went for dinner and returned to the room only to find that it had still not been cleaned. I reported to the inghams rep who spoke to the receptionist...went out again...returned still not clean. In the end the rep cleaned it for us. In addition the safety gate at the top of a very, very steep mezzanine had no clip...e and the rep reported it at least five times, but nobody mended it. We had to put a chair in front of it at night just in case our daughter got up and fell.

The food..ok..but Luke warm every day...luke warm lamb and luke warm fish don't fair well with us. The variety of food for children became limited at the end of the week... Drinks were VERY expensive here...

Levi itself is a must. We went on the husky safari, reindeer safari, Father Christmas search, snow shoeing...we went to the leviventuri spa which is a must! Do go...we would go back for sure, but I would stay in a chalet next time. There is a great supermarket and food doesn't cost that much more!

Stayed for a week at Crazy Reindeer and due to group size (2 families with teenagers) opted for the Crazy Reindeer rooms. True, you have to get dressed in your gear to go for meals but not really a problem. Rooms are good size double, fridge, coffee maker, kettle and steam shower included. Also on the same floor were a sauna (ladies and gents) and a Jacuzzi (shared) so easy to pop over on the opening hours to ease your aching limbs. Food, although buffet style was varied. 3 hot meals every evening, usually fish, meat and veggie and variety of accompaniments (chips, potato in various forms, roasted veg etc.) Salad bar available including pastas, plenty of different breads and a good choice of desserts. Breakfasts also ample unless you arrived at 9:45 when the choice was getting a bit thin (it shuts at 10). Pub on site, rock bar on site (which kicks out under 18s at 10 - drinking laws quite tight). Good size reception with helpful staff, coffee/drinks lounge including 'interesting' décor! Coupled with the availability of a spa with a range of treatments. 5 minutes walk into town and a supermarket located around 3-4 minutes walk away too. What else would you want!

Room Tip: if you book through a company you get a choice of three sorts of rooms - there are others. Crazy re...

Just returned from a week at white reindeer. The staff at Hullo Poro are lovely. They are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are pretty basic, with only 5 hangers in the wardrobe, and a very small bathroom. There is a kettle, but no tea, coffee or milk. At the end of the day though, you only sleep there. The drinks machine on the 2nd floor was out of action all the time we were there. Our tv wasn't working properly, nor was the shower, but both were sorted the next day. The dining room is like a canteen, but is pretty. There is a choice of 3 main meals, one being vegetarian, and the vegetarian meal was very repetitive. The hotel is quite well situated at the top end of town, and you can see the slopes from reception. I would go back there, as due to the nature of the holiday, you don't spend too much time indoors, but if you want a bit more luxury the Levitunturi looked better.
