The number of restaurants offering a very cheap hearty lunch which I would enjoy these days has fallen significantly in the last 10 years. Chez Edith is a magnificent rare exception. €11.50 for 5 simple but tasty courses, wine included, represents fantastic value for money. I don't know how they can do it for this price. This menu is not fine dining - how could it be that? Yet, it was a real pleasure to enjoy a nice lunch in pleasant surroundings. Friendly service too. Let's keep supporting this establishment so that it is able to continue offering such value.

We had a super lunch time meal when out with my cousin who lives in France. We loved the atmosphere and the quality of the food. Very good value and would recommend to anyone.

Chez Edith offers good wholesome food at reasonable prices. Service is always friendly. We probably go two or three times each month for a no nonsense, no fuss food. I can especially recommend the "Magret de Canard" while my wife loves the "salad marine". There is a varied selection of salads, fish, meat and Pizza. Chez Edith also offers a traditional 3 course lunch with wine for less than 12 euro!
It seems to be popular with French, Dutch and English.
Its a family business run by husband and wife, Stefan & Barbara. It can get very busy at times. I guess that just reflects its popularity. There is an outdoor pool for guests use.

My wife and I go here very often. They have a large menu and pizza choice. They have two terraces (one is looking over a pool you can use), and also two rooms inside (one is more bistrot like with TV and pooltable and the other is for the restaurant).

The owners are very nice people, and they will do their very best to please you. It's a typical french restaurant, on a very good location, with delicious food, nice and friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere.

So if you are in the area, you should go here !!

Have been here a few times mainly because its probably one of the better places to eat within a 15 km radius, but that is a sad state of affairs, people get carried away because its in a nice provincial place in France but in actual fact the food is neither special or reasonably priced, we had to send something back last time we were there and our request was frowned upon, they do however have a nice terrace looking over a pool that you can use.
Its a sad thing for me to say because i love France but over the years good quality restaurants are becoming very scarce, the best French meal for me in the last 2 years was a lunch in Chelsea
that only cost £ 19 and AA Gill was on the next table ! how things have changed
