On October 28th we were fortunate enough to book a trip with this company. We were with MSC & only had limited time so we were a bit concerned about the quality of tours on offer online. Panagiotis was our driver this day and we couldn't have asked for a better day. He gave us a personalised commentary of the local area & was very proud of his country, he answered our questions & took us to places that bus tours would not be able to reach. Most importantly he was a very careful & considerate driver. While older taxi drivers were flying past us on the highway, Panagiotis stuck to the speed limit & was very respectful of other drivers. I highly recommend Panagiotis & his company for a very enjoyable & comfortable tour, much better & more informative than what the cruise companies provide.

Panagiotis was our driver and guide for our day trip to Olympia, a pleasant and friendly person who are willing to go the extra mile. What a wonderful and knowledgeable day it was. Thanks Panagiotis, we can really recommend you to all who are interested in seeing and knowing more of Olympia.

Panagiotis was our guide and driver for our day trip to Olympia, the town of Pyrgos, and a winery visit. Everything was perfect. We were two couples picked up at the port on time by Panagiotis and he reconfirmed with us our plans for the day. Panagiotis was courteous, knowledgeable and very interesting. He made sure we were comfortable and had enough time to enjoy the sites. We were pleased when he took us to a small local winery that the tour buses do not visit - here we were spoiled with a small lunch along with our wine tasting. We felt we had real value for money on our tour with Panagiotis.

We stopped at a small town called Katakolon, which is the departure point to visit ancient Olympia - home of the very first Olympic games....after strolling thru the one street town of Katakolon, of which was predominantly shops selling Olympia merchandise....there should have been a train to take you the 45 mins thru the hotgreek countryside to the site of ancient Olympia, snag was trains hadn't run on those rust ridden tracks for yonks - we learned that there'd been a bridge collapse and they'd either never got round to fixing it, couldn't afford to or couldn't be bothered!!! so the ever resourceful train company had laid on a fleet of coaches to take us there at same as train fare 10e rtn....once there the heat was incredible and became even hotter as day wore on...
I was well disappointed with this attraction especially after visiting Athens prev day... bit of a major anti climax....if your idea of seeing what resembled a badly organised building site is fun then this is for you... just masses of tumbled columns everywhere and whistle blowing harradians telling you to "get off" should you want to stand on a conveniently located chunk of stone to either gain a better view or picture...the best bit was the actual stadium....if you decide to go, take plenty of water - go early to avoid crowds and increasing heat [it was in mid 40's when we were there...decent toilets and refreshments at good prices was one bonus....

We found Panagiotis / Katakolon taxi through the reviews in Trip Advisor. So many nice reviews we decided to book. He answered the emails promptly, told about the proposed tour and its cost. We wanted to go to the ancient site of Olympia and to the beach.
As soon as we got off the ship he was there waiting. Talked a lot about the region, which was quite nice. Before leaving us at the site he he took us further on to see the monument under which the heart of Pierre de Coubertin is buried. Did not read about that anywhere else, our driver-guide knew it all. As he could not go in the site (only official guides are allowed) he gave us a book on the site so we could walk around with more information. We then went to the archeological museum and also to the Olympic Museum, not so popular, but I highly recommend, very peculiar and specific on the ancient olympics. After we were done, he took us to Kourouta beach. We stayed for a while, the kids had a wonderful time, and then had a very nice lunch and headed back to Katakolon town for a walk.
Wonderful day, car, tour, driver and guide. Great service, thank you very much Panagiotis!
