A thrilling adventure in to the atmospheric, history packed country that is italy. After an inevitable picturesque car journey (that is recommended if you wish to capture the beauty and ancient aspect) we arrived at norcenni. Now I am not one to eat on site but the restaurants are exceptional , serving beautiful food, packed on a saturday night. There are 3 restaurants i believe, each sufficing different palettes. Foods popular in the area such as salami and olives are in great abundance! With a massive selection of fresh food sorts in small shops placed around the site, you can make your own makeshift lunch!

After perusing the campsite on a small train , my family and I had one of the best ice creams ever (trust me I know), which would be quite a recurring theme in the holiday. A short walk up the hill led us to make the discovery of the 18 hole mini golf course. It was fantastic, but not the best I have ever played, it was rudimentary and barely shrouded us from the blistering heat.

At night the place is extremely atmospheric, a beautiful heat sweeps over girasole, the centre of the site comes alive, the fountain changes colour, waffles and pancakes are on sale, football matches are shown live, provoking merry faces and just a fantastic night.

The poolS are a highlight, slides, flumes and 3 pools. One attraction is the lazy river that propels its victims at high speed in donut rings down a winding water path, There are loads of different variations of going down the river! Smaller slides and children's pools also looked brilliant, i was tempted to join in!

The location is beautiful, we loved going into Florence where we got a flavour of the historical legend. Hundreds of photos were taken around the area.

We also loved playing football with the masses of nationalities, the notorious skill of the Italians stood true! you will always get a good game there, whatever time. There were also board games and tennis available.

One restaurant in particular looks over the mountains and the pool, making it a fantastic spot for a meal.

Overall this was a brilliant stay and had many memories, i cannot emphasise how much i recommend this pocket of stardust. Such a beautiful opportunity is something unmissable. Truly fabulous...

Room Tip: Nowhere is too loud, i did mention the loud football, but that does not travel as far as the caravan...

We stayed at Norcenni in June having driven down through the Alps, what a fantastic site the caravans were excellent clean and tidy, though we had to ask for a microwave at all of the sites we visited.
The reps were excellent and always sorted it within a few minutes of arriving, we were near the front entrance which was good as we didn't have far to go to the amenities.
The Pizza and Lattes from the respective restaurants were lovely and the ice cream devine.
The animation team were very good and full of energy.
All in all an exellent week, we will definately visit again.

Just back from another great stay at Norcenni. This was our second time here in 3 years and again we stayed with Keycamp. We arrived on the 17th September which is very late in the year but the weather was great and the fact the site was close to closing suited us as it was quiet. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and not having to fight for sunbeds. Prob not suitable at that time of the year for everyone but suited us. The Norcenni staff are always helpful and friendly. Special mention to the fellow Northern Irelander who manned the desk dealing with tours etc. A great asset to the camp!! I think her name was Rosalind?? and she went out of her way to help us when we had a disappointing visit to the up market restaurant associated with Norcenni in Villa La Pagolina. We dined at the camp restaurants a few times and had no complaints. Food was lovely and the prices were fine. The camp shop a bit pricey but apart from a few items we went to the local coop and shopped there so no issues. Cant say much one way or another about the key camp couriers as apart from our 1st day we didn't see them! We love Tuscany and did the Siena tour with guide which was great. Figline is a quaint wee town which we wandered about in buying souvenirs and the obvious bottles of Chianti. Would say though that you def need a car for here as the site is quite a way from the town. One thing I will say is that Keycamp should start to look at the mobiles they have here as they are starting to look very run down and shabby. Clean enough but could do better too. Especially as we stayed a few nights in some sites in France and the mobiles there were fab.Clean and bright and modern so the difference is very noticeable. The site is well managed and always spotlessly clean Love it here and would have no hesitation in recommending the site. Will def be back.

The camp is beautiful very clean and has lots to do for all the family. I do not normally on a site but we ate in 2 of the 3 restaurants and the food was excellent along with the service. The facilities were excellent. we travelled with Keycamp and the reps were very helpful and the caravan well prepared.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this campsite. Its amenities were plentiful, with a great choice of swimming pools for adults and children. The tennis courts were in good condition although not cheap to hire as up to €20 an hour for the coolest time of day. We enjoyed meals at 2 of the 3 restaurants and would recommend Norcenni where the food and service wax very good. A very good choice of organised trips reasonably priced.

We stayed here with keycamp, accomodation was great. But the resort was first class, lovely pools, decent restaurants for a campsite. Plenty to keep us all amused. We normally have a private villa with a pool in tuscany but thought we would give this a try, our expectations were exceeded, kids loved it, we'll be back.

I will keep it short;

Plus points - excellent pools and good restaurants, whole site is clean and well kept, very friendly staff, always able to get sunbeds (we travelled 22/8 for 10 nights), great excursions, shuttle bus into town, beautiful views, great variety of excursions/transport only options for reasonable prices.

Downsides - small pitches, our mobile home did not face outwards but faced sideways thus the view from our decking was the back of the caravan in front, too large to feel that the kids 9 and 6 could wander off - like at Camping Fabulous Rome (although this would not stop us highly recommending the site - it is more of a personal thing)

We flew to Bologna and hired a car. In hindsight, after speaking with a family who flew to Pisa and got the train - this may have been an easier/cheaper option. The trains are excellent and there is a campsite shuttle bus between the station and the campsite.

Liked Florence and Pisa but LOVED Lucca and Bologna!
