“Lovely place.”

This is a very attractive new log lodge with a rustic pine ambiance, modern furniture and a wide screen TV downstairs in the common room. The large beds are very comfortable and the breakfast very good. We would stay here again; it is a perfect distance from Sugarloaf.

Just got back from our first stay at Nestlewood Inn and loved every minute of our time there. My wife Jennifer and I plan to make it our only place to stay when visiting the area. The Inn is amazing. The rooms were top notch and kept very very clean.

David and Alona were really nice and personable. They were there to answer any questions and help in anyway they could. We had two breakfasts there and they both were great. Fresh blueberry pancakes and sausage along with a cup of freash fruit with granola and yogurt for the first breakfast. Egg, Ham and cheese sandwiches with sausage and potatoes on the side, along with the fruit, strawberry yogurt and granola for breakfast 2.

In the evening they have a pastry, coffee, tea and hot chocolate for you to enjoy when your hanging out in the living room area.

The Inn's resident dog, Sadie, was a sweet mild mannered Australian Sheperd who was there to greet you when you came in. She was very friendly.

The Inn is so close to the Sugarloaf Resorts and Outdoor Center, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. Can't say enough on how happy we were with our stay!!

We had our wedding at Sugarloaf this fall and wanted a place for our wedding party to stay together, so we rented the inn! The inn itself is beautifully designed and decorated, but it was David and Alona who made it amazing! They worked so hard the whole weekend to make our wedding weekend amazing. We had the rehearsal dinner the night before and then the brunch the day after. The bridal party got ready outside on the porch, we brought the salon to us. They were helpful, attentive to our needs, always polite, just all around amazing people! If my folks didn't have a place at Sugarloaf, I would be staying here all the time! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with great people! If you aren't staying at the Nestlewood, you are missing one of Sugarloaf's GEMS!!!

Room Tip: The beds have great mattresses and the rooms are quiet and the bathrooms are clean!

A lovely inn, with the quaintness of a rustic log cabin, but the sparkling clean and cozy rooms of a luxury modern lodge. Our family included our three adult sons, and we didnt want to be at Sugarloaf Resort with lots of other families. It was ideal staying here a few miles from the ski area and the cross country area, but within walking distance of a great restaurant (Hugs) and a beautiful walking trail along the river. The shuttle bus for the area got us to the cross country skiing area, and to the mountain, to other restaurants and to Christmas mass so we didnt have to use the car. We all enjoyed beautifully presented breakfasts, the available common fridge for our food (whoops, we left our beer behind!) and charming dog Sadie who is respectful of ones privacy, but will keep you company in the living room if you want her to.

This was our first stay at a B&B, as we usually tend to stay at hotels. But due to last minute booking for Christmas ski vacation, we found Nestlewood Inn to be a cheaper option than staying at Sugarloaf. And WOW am I glad we found this place! The log cabin is BEAUTIFUL, recently constructed, it is super clean and comfortable. Dave and Alona are great hosts, and make a very good breakfast each day. The quiet mountain setting makes for a very relaxing stay, and being less than 5 minutes drive to the mountain means you don't have to miss anything.
Will recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay near Sugarloaf, and we will definitely be back in the future.

We have stayed in many B&B's around the country and this one is top notch. David and Alona are delightful and the breakfast that Alona prepared each morning was delicious. We loved the mountain setting, the cleanliness, the open yet cozy feeling of the Inn and the welcoming dog Sadie. We will recommend to friends traveling in the area and hope to return someday.

We found the Nestlewood Inn via Trip Advisor for an impromptu weekend away with another couple and how lucky we were!! I had read the 16 reviews rating the Nestlewood Inn “excellent” in Trip Advisor, and now mine is the 17th.

The Inn is absolutely beautiful, new and clean, with a gorgeous stone fireplace in the great room which also had the TV. The room was extremely clean and peaceful, with a bed, bureau, easy chair, closet and full bathroom. Alona, one of the innkeepers, provided guidance on restaurants, activities and hiking trails; all of her recommendations were perfect. WIFI was also available throughout the inn. The lower level also had a refrigerator for guests, so that beverages, etc. could be kept cool.

Breakfast was delicious as well! Fresh fruit with yogurt topped with granola, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, as well as sausages and locally roasted coffee; Alona was careful to ask about food allergies, etc. There were also freshly baked cookies when we arrived.

Besides being beautiful and relaxing, it also is a wonderful value… we plan on going back with additional friends! Recommend this place very, very highly. This is a great place for summer as well as winter!
