“Needs major room upgrading and cleaning.”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

Been here two years ago, because we attended my cousin's wedding. Our rooms down to the the service was great. But when we went back last weekend, we were so disappointed. Since the room we preferred was under renovation, we were booked to Amihan 115, good for 8 persons. It was a two floor accommodation, with kitchen facilities and dining area. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a funny smell, gives you an impression that the place was not properly cleaned. We went upstairs and same smell. Our room fits 8 people but it lacks cabinets where we could place our things. There was a sala or receiving area on the 2nd flr but it was so bare that only a couch was there. Such a waste of space. Minus points also goes to the bathroom, its door lock isnt working, there are ants, and the sink had patches of dirt...and please, for an accommodation as huge as 8 guests, the resort should consider having 2 bathrooms!

Service should have been ok, but their room service line ISN'T WORKING! It keeps on ringing and nobody's answering. We had to use our cellphones to contact the front desk and housekeeping. We sent a text message for additional 2 towels, they replied, but no towels arrived, we had to do a follow up after 5 hours! Imagine. They were all courteous, but their lines suck. Really.

Outdoor amenities are ok, but there were too many people that we decided to just stay inside. The ff. day we went to Kamay Ni Hesus which is just right across the resort. Breakfast was good - ok this one's a plus. I commend their delicious and hearty breakfast.

All in all, this resort is promising, but please, improve the cleanliness of your rooms (we even encountered 2 flying cockroaches!!!), as well as your phone lines!!!!! Sorry but because of your defective phone lines, I can't give you a thumbs up for your service.

We stayed here for a night. The room was good also the facilities, compli breakfast ( according to my colleagues)and cool climate. The water in the pool was too cold. We asked the employee if where's the clinic. She said it's not available. OMG! What if there's an emergency? Lastly we found a cockroach in the bed.

Went here for a quick out of town trip with friends. The room is beautiful. We only encountered a little problem upon checking-out; the rate, according to the staff, was different to what was previously discussed in the e-mail (reservation).

Room Tip: If you reserve via email, make sure you get the name of the staff.

I organized a teambuilding activity last Sept 2012 here in Batis Aramin. This was recommended by a colleague so I set high expectations but I was a bit disappointed as this is not worth the long travel from Manila. I reserved 3 rooms including the duplex house with 3 CRs, kitchen and private pool. Pros: Few meters away from Kamay ni Jesus, Cheap, rooms are spacious, with kitchen and some appliances are provided (refrigerator, stoves, kettle, etc), many cabinets for the clothes in room, staffs are nice, you can rent videoke, Ice, snacks and drinks are available in the reception area.Cons: Kitchen a bit dusty, private pool is too cold that you wont be able to swim and enjoy, poor lightnings of bridge and ways at night so we had to use flashlights and cellphones, phone isnt working so we need to go to the reception area for the requests, you can tell the receptionist to send some locals they know to have a body massage, mani/pedi and foot spa. So to summarize, if you are from Manila with family, friends or teambuilding activity, the long travel is not worthy as there is nothing special in the place Caliraya is even better as they can offer more activities.

Batis Aramin is a 4 hour ride spot from Manila. In front of Batis Aramin is the famous Kamay ni Hesus of Fr. Joey Faller. After the station of the cross in Kamay ni Hesus, we directly had our team building activities. We had different kind of group games, rappel, zipline and wall climb. :)
Another thing that I enjoyed the most is the water of their pools. Batis aramin swimming pools have pure clean water coming from a natural source. The water is really cold and no chemical added. So it is recommended to go there during summer time :) There are also rooms for overnight stay and spacious cottages for day activity

We went here during the Pahiyas festival and my kids have really enjoyed this resort. There are several pools within the area. Staff are friendly and helpful. I was planning to get a room but unfortunately it was all fully booked so we just had a day use. We just rented a cottage for P400. Entrance fee is very reasonable P125, price is different for night swimming. Food menu is good, a bit pricey but big servings. By the way you can bring your own food and drinks. They have this Adventure camp where you can do some activities like zipline, rapelling & wall climbing. You have to get the ticket at the reception for P250, they say its unlimited ride but actually they will allow only you to do 5 of each. They should improve the shower rm for both male and female as well as the rest room but nevertheless the place is ok.

Since I am from Lucban, it is really convenient for my family to take a swim in this place. To be honest with you, I would recommend this resort/hotel if you are from Lucban or nearby city but if you are from Manila, na.ah! The place is great only if there are limited people swimming but of course for business purposes, they will allow as many vacationers as possible. Another thing, if the owner's family friends are partying or occupying transients, they can't say no to noise(that's the main reason the other reviews are completely true regarding the noise and partying teenagers). For a day trip, the cottages are way too expensive(even the entrance fee)
This resort hotel is perfect only for weddings or any other event(again if you are from nearby city)but if you will drive 3-4 hours just to visit this hotel, DO NOT GO.
Everything in this hotel is truly expensive though the service is poor. If you'd go to Batangas, you can get better amenities but for more affordable rate.
By the way, better bring lots of mosquito repellant if you don't want to have dengue.
