The small details are what make this holiday so special. The space that each unit is given on the field is lovely and allows peace and privacy. The games, both outdoors and in the shepherds hut was a wonderful touch, as were the delicious cake and eggs. We sadly did not meet the owners, but were more than ably assisted by son, Olly, who could not have been more helpful. I've never met such a delightful young man (and I am a teacher by trade).

The facilities in each hut are second to none. My only hope is that this venue does not change. Clearly the units are still very new and are beautifully presented. I hope that the success that will clearly come to this lovely organisation will not encourage them to overload the site with people - this was a really special break for which we send enormous thanks to the owners.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Suffolk shepherds hut which I reckon was the nicest situated as it was furthest away from the other units and the entrance and had a lovely vista.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We do not intend to change our format and realise we will have to work hard to keep the huts looking like they are now.

Spent 3 nights in this beautiful little cabin. On arrival we received everything functional as well as special little touches like a home made cake. Every last detail was thought through really well! Cannot wait to return! Perfect location and lovely people! Thank you!

Dog friendly was a huge bonus for us!!!!

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. The tent was so comfortable and well equipped. The kids LOVED all the animals and our hosts were very welcoming and happy to chat to the children and show them around the farm.

The shepherd's hut we stayed in was beautiful. We enjoyed a wonderful evening burning logs, the hut was clean and modern and wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone! We valued being able to book just for one night over the weekend, most places would only allow 2 nights.

We recently stayed for three nights for out first wedding anniversary in the Texel Shepherds Hut. Everything was exactly as advertised; the hut was fairly new, well kitted out, clean and touched with attention to detail. A homemade cake, eggs, milk, tea and coffee waiting for us was very welcoming. The camp site is a good size and the huts and tents are well spread out so as not to be too close to each other. A very relaxing weekend in a beautiful part of the country. Shame about the weather, but sadly we can't control the Great British Weather! Well worth the stay.
