When visited on a cold, windy November morning, these gardens were not at their best. They reminded me of Malta as a whole- tatty, slightly run-down and scruffy. they are not very accessable for people with walking difficulties. The paths are uneven and can be slippery, with many changes in level, and steps - all potential problems. We did not venture far and did not find the cafe but there are free toilets. Probably better in summer months. We were definitely underwhelmed!
