Staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious and the maids regularly clean (but unfortunately do not give new bedsheets). There are sufficient utensils in the kitchen to make your own dinner (hob, frying pans, pots, toastie machine) and food can be purchaed at the cheap supermarket in the hotel. The hotel is about three minutes' walk from the strip down a straight road. The restaurant in the hotel has lovely food and is very cheap - our entire meals were always under 10 euros. Music is played around the pool all day. The cocktail bar is lovely and also sells laughing gas cheaper than on the strip. Most of the guests in the hotel are groups of friends aged 18-30 with only a few older couples or families.

We went to this hotel in July 2012 as a group of couples.

We has a good time but the rooms are basic and the bathrooms are tiny with very old shower curtains which stick to you when your in the shower!urgh! And the water is always cold. The rooms are spacious the air con isnt the best but it will do when its 40 degrees! There are loads of mosquitos. The best bars are at the far end of the strip a good 15 minute walk from this hotel. The barn bar we enjoyed the best. The Island Beach Hotel is good and always has good events on like

If your looking for somewhere good to eat Russos's on the front near the pier is gorgeous and the druken squid is good with massive portions which will put you in a food coma!

Dont book transfers through lowcost holidays as they wait for planes to land before they allow your transfer to set off. We waited for 2 hours before we even left the airport and then its a long transfer for 1.5 hours.

The olypian village is the only place to stay in kavos it is not by any means a 5 star hotel however it is the onky decent one.
The rooms were spacious and cleaned regularly however the maide try to come in while you are asleep to clean teh room which isnt really very good.
The hotel is a short walk from the strip down an unlit hill which is dangerous if youre not walking in groups of 3-4.
The hotel food and drinks are reasonbly priced, however there are some good places to eat on the strip too.
The hotel have a very strict policy on non-guests being brought back and it is not tolerated at all also if ANYTHING in the hotel room is damaged the costs are rediculously high (if you lose the room key its 300 euro)
Air conditioning and the safe had to be paid for sepratly and betwwen 2 people sharing a room was 70 euro each (rather expensive)
Overall this hotel was a good hotel demonstrated by some celebs staying there while we were there.

Hands down, the best holiday i have ever had!
Me and the girls stayed at Olympian Village for 2 weeks in july 2012 and we thought it was absolutely amazing. Our room was very clean, spacious and modern. We were on the ground floor which seemed to be a lot cooler than our friends room which was on the 2nd floor, so there was no need for us to purchase air conditioning.

The pool and restaurant area was lovely and from what we saw, was the best in Kavos. Music is played throughout the day and into the night, but isn't too loud. (You get to know the playlist very well :)!) The restaurant and bar is open all day and is quite cheap, then on the night the restaurant offers 2 courses for €5.90, which is so good, and 2 cocktails for €6. There is also a little shop where you can get supplies and food to cook yourself.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and Kavos itself to young people who want an amazing party holiday with a gorgeous hotel at the same time. The views are so nice and the staff are lovely, ignore what other reviews are saying, when we went the staff were lovely and very helpful.

The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk away from the strip, down a little hill. Which is perfect because its not too far but still far enough to be away from the noise and the smell of the strip :p.
Bars that are amazing to go too are definitely Buzz bar! There were so many people there every single night, everyone spills out on to the street and party's there. So good! The strip closes at 4 but then Atlantis is open till like 7, so everyone goes there after and party's on the beach till the sun comes up, so amazing :)! If you get the chance to go to island bar as well that is gorgeous! It is only open on a thursday though but it is definitely worth going. JC's is also really good, the promoters are lovely there :) and you have to try a haribo headf***er, they are actually really nice! :D. JC's is the first bar you get too, walking down from the hotel so you get to know the promoters really well.

There are loads of places to eat, drunken squid is by far the best, mmmm its so good there. Mexican and chinese food. There are loads of other nice places all down the strip that are dead cheap too.

When you have the meeting with your rep on your first day, be careful because some of the events they tell you about are worth getting tickets for and others arnt, they just literally hype up everything and they pressure you into getting tickets, so just think about it before :)! And get the ones that include a free bar!!!!!!

Kavos beach is awful, because everyone party's on it at night :) so i wouldn't go there in the day. There are gorgeous beaches though, if you hire a quad bike (for like €25 a day) just explore and you'll find them. We just asked at reception and they told us where to find them :).

The weather is absolutely amazing also!!! it was like 35 - 40° every single day! Tan time!
And you meet so many people, definitely recommend to anyone, such an amazing holiday :D!!!!

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw were lovely.

It's in the BEST location; RIGHT next to the strip but up a slight hill so it's super quiet. Amazing. The staff are fab and friendly (Edmund, Penny, Pedro, we love you all!!), the meals are MASSIVE, and the cocktail bar is gorgeous!

The rooms are nice; there were 9 of us and we were told we'd have 2 rooms; two rooms of 5 with a spare bed, but we actually had four three apartments, one with one bedroom, one with one downstairs bedroom and upstairs bedroom (but the same room, if you get me) and one with two seperate bedrooms. This meant we had to pay for extra air-conditionings (which was SO EXPENSIVE! 90 euro for a week, whilst our other friends staying at a different hotel only had to pay about 30).

And trust me, you DEFINITELY need air-con! And don't even bother buying a fan from a shop, the maids will grass you up and they'll take it away from you!

The pool is lovely and the restaurant, but not a place for families!

Also they are very strict on people who are not staying in the hotel coming in; my friend hurt her leg quite badly one night and someone who didn't stay in this hotel tried to walk her back and nothing else, but they weren't having any of it and made him bugger off!

The maid's liked to just come in while you were sleeping which was a bit awkward but they were only doing their jobs.

The rooms all have balconies, even the downstairs ones and all the rooms have a fridge, cooker, sink, bathroom, mirrors, phone (which you can call and prank call other rooms by calling their room number, v fun).

Apart from that it's great - definitely recommend!

Stayed here last year (Aug 2011) with 5 other girls and was really happy with the accommodation, the rooms were spacious, modern and cleaned regularly. The pool was a decent size with the bar serving reasonably priced food and drink. The bar is open all night and the barman is always up for a laugh on your return from a night out. The only downfall of this hotel is that it is located up a poorly lit hill and my friend had her bag snatched by two men on a moped. When we returned to the hotel another guest said this had happened to another girl a week earlier. The staff at the hotel were very rude and unhelpful when we asked for the address of the police station so she could claim for an insurance number as they did not want to aquire a bad reputation but the thomson rep was more than helpful is assisting us. Overall this is a great hotel, but would advice girls to be careful when walking the hill at night.

Stayed here with my boyfriend from 29th june till 14th july. It was absolutely amazing! Compared to the other hotels on offer this is luxury for the price we paid. Its in a great location on a hill near to the strip but far enough away from it to have peace, although many people will have their music on till early hours as the night doesn't really begin till about 1am, but hey its kavos so what do you expect, dont stay here if you want quiet as it is a really lively hotel. Also a lot of the acts who appear in Kavos stay at this hotel, while we were there we had tinchy stryder, fazer, mistajam, labrinth. Definitely do a night in venue and atlantis when an act is on, oh and the foam party was pretty awesome at SEX club, €20 and a free bar all night! Be careful with the PRs as they will all offer you deals that sound gd but when you go in the bar you end up getting really small glasses or watered down drinks. They do decent drinks in Scorers, beetle bar, buzz bar, and theres a little bar next to a place called fountain bar where he does really strong cocktails, they are €5 but you get a free shot and free pool games. Best restaurants are Terrys Taverna, The Barn, Pulse, Desperados, Drunken Squid & Tex Mex. Sweet house do really nice fresh baguettes for lunch and eves garden do value breakfasts. Invest in mosquito repellent as you get bitten all night, came back covered in bites! Definitely hire out a buggy they are wicked, we drove to another beach nearby as Kavos beach is always covered in rubbish from the night before. For excursions do Aqualand, corfu by night, and the blue lagoon cruise which was amazing! Go to Kavos it is wicked!
