We cycled from Westport and appreciated a warm welcome from the owner. She was most accommodating and allowed us to sleep in and then have breakfast. The breakfast was great, topped up with extra sausages and bacon. We were given hot whiskeys and chocolate before we mounted our bikes again. Thanks for a special stay.

We stayed here on the 1st weekend in March & although the weather was awful the hospitality & welcome we recieved at Achill Lodge more than made up for it. The rooms were lovely & warm (despite it being freezing outside) & we had the most peaceful sleep ever. We awoke the next morning & were served a beautiful full Irish breakfast. Could not fault the place. Will be returning during the summer when the sun is shining :)

I booked into this bed and breakfast on Thursday evening. Needed a place to stay while attending a funeral. The lady couldn't have been nicer re my booking. When I arrived I was shown my room, very spacious and a comfortable bed, offered a cup or tea / coffee, shown the lounge (beautiful views). Gorgeous breakfast and the curtains in the room were great - created a perfect blackout so a great night's sleep. Would recommend this B&B.

we had a group of 6 that stayed here on New years eve. as soon as we arrived we are greatly impressed at how helpful our hostess was. She went out of her way to help us out with taxis and info of where to go etc!! she even offered to get someone to pick us up if we were stuck for a lift home that night!! the accomodation was ideal. lovely rooms all large and ensuite. following morning the breakfast was lovely too and no shortage of food. would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay

Our hosts Bernie and Hughie were wonderful! Fantastic Irish breakfast (best we've had anywhere) and very friendly. The day we checked out our car broke down an hour later while still on the island. We called them for a suggestion on mechanic. Hughie went so far as to call an AA mechanic and come get us there. He then took us back to the B&B where we could be warm and comfy until we could get home. Tea, sandwiches and kind words - we can't say enough about their hospitality!! The location is nicely set between Keel and Doogort. Thanks for everything!
