“Don't delay, book today!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

We stayed Jul/Aug 2013. The hotel is extremely clean and as everyone has said the family cannot do enough for you.

The hotel is very small and basic (that's why we chose it). Excellent place to stay for a nice relaxing two weeks in the sun. We would go back.

Planes aren't an issue at all.

Playground/baby pool are brilliant for little ones.

Advice: take excellent mosi repellant!

Only con: beds weren't comfortable, pool & bar area are combined so if you have a little one as we did, one parent has to be on duty at all times.

We stayed at Vallian Village from 3rd - 14th August and had a super, relaxing holiday. We arrived at 11 pm, were taken to our basic but clean room and then popped to the bar for a drink. Although it was after AI we were given as complimentary drink, which was lovely. The food was all home cooked and a good selection. Sweets were limited. Towels and bedding were changed every day. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful Greek family who ran it, Air conditioning was 5 euro a day but a must! Rhodes Town was a 20 minute bus ride away but worth a visit. Being a small complex, with only a couple of bars within easy walking distance (although the roads were awful. especially at night) we made lots of friends and enjoyed their company, spending days and nights together. The airport is really only 10 minutes away so no transfers are needed. The planes were low and noisy but fascinating at the same time and you did get used to them. Mosquito bites were plentiful. We would visit again.

I'm writing this review while still here so it's fresh in my mind. Where to start, well having read the previous reviews before booking, I thought it sounded like a nice place for the wife and I. Firstly, the location. The hotel is very close to the airport and the planes flying out fly just above the hotel is there is no way you'll get to the point where you don't see or hear them, at all times of day and night.
We stayed in room 508 which is next to the short road that leads to the pebbly beach which isn't particularly calm at any time. Along this road you'll get some fast moving traffic and you'll hear and see digs and hear cockeralls in the morning.
The location is about a twenty minute walk to Paradissi and probably similar to Tholos. The nearest shop/kiosk is out on to the main road, turn left and it's about fifteen minutes along there on foot. The nearest supermarket is in Paradissi.
The nearest bus stop going in either direction is at the end of the hotel road. Rhodes town is about half an hour by bus and cost €2.30 each way.
Food here is consistent and if good quality so the all inclusive option is best.
There is no free entertainment provided unless you call music from the bar entertainment or some of the other guests! It's a shame the bar music isn't traditional Greek though.
The pool is about 20 metres by ten and is clean, as is the pool area. Just be aware that you will see bugs flying around. There is a sign that says pool open from 09.00 to 20.00 and another one that says No Diving. Neither of these are adhered to and neither if these are Policed. There is absolutely no health and safety stated anywhere although there are one or two fire extinguishers. If you're new to Rhodes, this health and safety way extends across the island.
There is a pool table and an air hockey table and free wifi that extends throughout public areas.
As with most places abroad, be up early or stay up late to get yourself a sun lounger.
The rooms are adequate, clean and have a tv and fridge. The shower works but no where near the water pressure you'd have at home, and polite notices asking not to put toilet paper down the loo.
Did I mention about the planes flying over??
Overall a nice clean hotel under a hot sunny sky with consistent quality food and weather. Would I visit again? No.

We have just returned from spending 2 weeks at Vallian Village. This is a family run hotel, and I have to say they all work very hard to keep the hotel spotless and well run.
The family was very friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. There was a couple of occassions where we asked for directions to the supermarket/pharmacy, and they offered to drive us there, which was unexpected but much appreciated.

The food was always good and very fresh. There wasn't a large variety of food, but what was cooked was delicious and filling. We never struggled to find something to eat and we never went hungry.
They also had coffee/tea served from 11-5 and icecreams served from 3-6.

The rooms were basic which is all we wanted and very clean.

The pool area was very clean and tidy. Lovely area to relax. Sunbeds could be a problem because some guests got up early to put towels out and reserve sunbeds. This wasn't a problem for us as we did the same and reserved 2.

Overall we had a lovely 2 week break for a brilliant price, would recommend for anyone looking for a nice affordable holiday in a quiet area to relax.

Thank you to all the staff that worked very hard to make our holiday more enjoyable.

We stayed at Vallian for 10 days at the end of July to the beginning of August and everything we read previously was so true. We along with other guests commented on the difference we experienced from other all inclusive destinations, this being the family could not do enough for you throughout the whole holiday. We were even dropped off by Sofia into Paradisi to the local bar and to the airport at the end of our stay by Alex.
The minute you arrive you feel welcomed and this continued throughout the whole holiday. The room and pool is spotless as is the whole compex. Sunbeds can be a problem but the beach is 2 minutes away, free sunbeds and the breeze and sea is lovely. We also found that if you couldn't find a bed in the morning there were usually some free later in the afternoon. The one thing that was lacking was a shop, water is sold at the bar in bottles, very reasonable 1 euro for a litre bottle, anything else was a walk. There is a kiosk 5 minutes away that has cigarettes, crisps, chocolate etc otherwise you have a 20 minute walk. Overall a fantastic hotel run by a family that have a quality that is a rare find in any hotel never mind one that has all inclusive facilities. Thank you very much we will definitely be back.

We have just returned home from a week here after visiting in September last year. The family are lovely and very welcoming and it was lovely to be recognised by Zanthe and the family when we returned and we had such a warm welcome! The rooms are very clean with a balcony, fridge and air con and the pool area is very clean and tidy. There is a beach 5 minutes down the road with a nice relaxing bar and a shop within walking distance. There is free wifi around the pool area and computers to access. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially couples and families, very child friendly! I think we will return again in the future.
