We stayed for 2 weeks in September and had a wonderful stay.We cannot praise too highly the wonderful welcome and the great customer relations, everyone was made to feel really cared for, and nothing was too much trouble .Every request was greeted with a warm smile and quick response. We thank Zanthe, Nickos and the rest of the family very much for making our stay so special. The rooms were simple but nicely furnished, with excellent bathrooms and everything was spotless. It was also nice that the rooms are arranged so that your balcony is private on most of the rooms, and importantly the sound proofing is excellent. The pool was great and not at all chloriny, and they intend to add pads to the sunbeds next season which will make them very comfortable. We enjoyed the food very much, plenty of choice and a really good standard of cooking as well as very helpful dining room staff.
We also enjoyed the small beach just 500 metres down the lane all on the level. You will love this if you are happy to be in a country location, and away from the town ,the peace and quiet will be very welcome even if occasionally a jet passes over, which you soon get used to.
We shall certainly be returning and we found september a perfect time to be there, less busy and a perfect climate for us.

Room Tip: All the rooms are quiet but we were in 302 on the groundfloor which was great.

Excellent budget hotel, clean and decent hotel.
Nice and simple room, good housekeeping.
Large pool and bar, wifi (not accessible in the room)
Good basic food.
Close to the airport resulting in noise of planes, but rooms are good isolated,.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our holiday due to its proximity to the airport. What an excellent place!

The staff are lovely, one of the best places I've ever been in terms of customer service. They bent over backwards to help us, especially the lady who helped us print our plane tickets on the last day - I'm sorry I don't know your name but thank you for being so lovely.

Other pluses: amazing value for money all round, the evening buffet meal is yummy, the pool area is really pretty and relaxing, we had the pool pretty much to ourselves a lot of the time, and the table tennis!

It is on the flight path so bring your earplugs for sleeping - a very small price to pay for such a great place. Thank you!

We stayed at The Vallian 1st week of September, like others we were a little worried about being so close to the airport but I have to say it really didnt bother us at all. Yes it is noisy and it did stop your conversation when sitting outside but 10 seconds and its over! On the plus side its only a 5 min taxi ride that cost us 11 euros. Zanthias father very kindly gave us a lift back (thanks again)!

Our rooms were very clean and had everything we needed, nice big fridge, tv (didnt use it) and even the hairdryer was good I didnt need to use mine! Air con is 5 euros a night which was a must have. The bathroom was a little dated but clean with fresh towels every day. The beds were fine but only one pillow, but if I had asked im sure Zanthia would have given us another one no probs.

I sat out on the balcony a few times and could see the sea, it was a shame that the air con system was leaking all over the balcony but it was clean.

The breakfast wasnt the best but we always found something plus lunch and dinner made up for it as it was amazing! Lots of fresh salads which we love and plenty of choice...could not fault at all!!! It was nice that the hot food was not self service and the staff expained what it all was.

The pool area was spotless, so nice not to have horrid plastic sun loungers. They were nice wood but a little uncormfortable. I dont think I would want to be there in the height of summer as i dont think there would be enough loungers but we didnt have a problem as it wasnt busy. The outside bar served all the drinks, they were in plastic cups which i wasnt keen on but not a problem. Tea & coffee was also served there along with icecream from 3-6.

The bus stop is at the end of the road which we used alot, we went to the butterfly valley which was ok if you like that sort of thing. And the Old Town was 40 mins on the bus but it was very crowded at times and we did have to stand once.

The beach is only a 5 min walk if that, it is a shingle beach with free loungers but we rather chill by the pool. The beach bar is nice!

All in all the hotel is really good and the staff are very very nice. There isnt any nightlife in the area which suited us as we just wanted to chill out. There are a few bars and eating places about a 15 min walk and a small supermarket. We really enjoyed our time here and would defo recommend it for people looking to chill out, I would not think twice about booking the hotel again if we come back to Rhodes. Thank you to everyone at the Vallian! X

Room Tip: Dont book transfers use the local taxi rank at the airport but you may have to wait a while as the drivers want the bigger fairs first.

We were a little concerned when we saw how close to the airport the Hotel was, but the cleanliness of the rooms (clean towels everyday) and the pool area, the wonderful Greek food, and the warm greeting we had when we arrived soon made us forget about this.
The beach was a stroll away down through the fields, we found it a bit to stoney for us and in September it was windy, but it had a bar, free sunbeds and was virtually our own private beach and a sunset in the evening to die for. I would say not suitable for young children or teenagers but if you hire a car there are plenty of beaches on the island, or a bus stop away is Tholos with sunbeds and watersports.
The planes were loud and low, not to much off a problem, you do get used to it, but if you are a light sleeper probably best to stay away, we only had problems 1 night sleeping. On the plus side there is no transfer problems, I think we were in our room 30mins after landing, and yes we were given a lift back to the airport even though we asked for a taxi.
We felt you needed to hire a car at least for a few days to see the Island even though a bus stop at the end of the road took you to wonderful Rhodes town.
Don't go here if you are wanting a night life, it is quiet! But we made good good friends and had much laughter sat at the pool bar in the evening and all for free.
Lovely pool and gardens, nice wooden sunbeds which were a bit hard, local dog and cats, banana and palm trees, the perfect place to relax.
We went fully inclusive, nice breakfast, good lunch, tea coffee biscuits and ice-cream in afternoon, and a delicious dinner, perfect :)
Great place for couples wanting a quiet break.
